Yeah a lot of the programs I see have 5 rep sets on DL. I might slowly decrease the # of reps I do as I increase the weight.

Could be. I do my pullups after my deadlifts each time. I have a theory that my lats aren't activating properly. My attempt to get them to fire is to finish my pull-day with wide-grip pullups where I do a few and then do negatives. By that point I'm thoroughly exhausted, especially my biceps...

I'm taking it easy, but n00b gains are 4 real. This is all noob talk, but I feel like I was pushing myself an appropriate amount when I was doing 60lbs 3x5 on Sept 19th (when I got my dumbbells), but last night I did 100lbs 3x10. And now when I lift a 60lbs dumbbell it feels so light. The one...

Sooooo.... I'm pretty sure @Ossoi was right about my 3kcal diet being too high. I've been tracking my caloric intake, calculated 1rep max ( Calculate Your One-Rep Max (1RM) ) lifts on the big three (bench, deadlift, squat) and my weight (every morning). The result is that I've gained some 3lbs...

Vid of me fucking up my last chance attempt and getting saved by one of my captains

I agree. I wish the game was set up such that if there's no orcs high enough on your "nemesis scale", Sauron would start sending brutal orcs after you that would increase in power until they started kicking your ass.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War (Shadow of Mordor Sequel)

Some amazing legendary mob showed up to fight in a conquest. Tough son of a bitch with curses, fiery weapons and incredible regenetive capabilities. I considered replacing Az-Laar with him and put Az-Laar to the test. Az-Laar actually went berserk and accidentally killed one of my low-level...

I didn't notice any true input lag in either SoM or SoW for PC, but thanks to consolitis there's quite a few control issues since they have to map so many actions to so few buttons. Tallion will do a lot of things you don't want him to do, including: running up a wall instead of vaulting over...

Just in case there's any confusion, you get significant amounts of legendary gear ingame as well. At a guess I've gotten ~30 pieces so far, and I've just started Act IV and haven't tried farming legendary gear (or anything else) in any capacity.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War (Shadow of Mordor Sequel)

No, lol. Though there is more reason to buy loot crates (vs orc crates), because at least the legendary gear you get could possibly change the gameplay a lot, and legendary gear doesn't betray you (though the big orcs can break your legendary sword, which creates a mission for you to go try to...

Middle-earth: Shadow of War (Shadow of Mordor Sequel)

Nah. Pretty much everyone playing it says the same thing: Act4 doesn't frustrate anyone into buying orcs, and the whole loot crate debacle is overblown reactionary nonsense by well-intentioned fools.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War (Shadow of Mordor Sequel)

I'm actually liking shadow wars more than the first 3 acts. I'd love it if they combined some of the features from one of my all-time favorite games, Mount and Blade, into Shadow of War. Basically, make a huge RTS + RPG-style game.

Another good one would be an item that gives you a buff that can give you a single-use last chance attempt.

I'd say right now the most insidious thing you could sell to players is something that would make an orc never betray you. And I don't even know how much that'd help in Act 4, I haven't explored the undead mechanics enough yet.

@Tarrant how much Tolkien bux you up to?

Also, I'd wager that the crew that fucked up the Forthog (he saved me for the first time yesterday, lol), DLC were in charge of the MTX in this game. Even without thinking about it that hard I could come up with much more palatable MTX options that would be more useful than just buying orcs...

Middle-earth: Shadow of War (Shadow of Mordor Sequel)

Nah, my argument is that the MTX is some tacked on bullshit that all the pearl clutchers assumed the game was designed around. Obviously we won't get this data, but I'd love to see the number of people who paid for more than $15 worth or so of gold. It just makes so little sense to dump $$$ into...

Middle-earth: Shadow of War (Shadow of Mordor Sequel)

@Utnayan So I broke into Act 4 this weekend. Like others have said, you have to beat 20 progressively harder Fort defense/assault missions. Now I could either spend some time prepping for each fort mission by: 1. Exploring the game world and collecting captains by engaging through the handful...

Middle-earth: Shadow of War (Shadow of Mordor Sequel)

lol online battles. tldr: The attacking and defending orcs take one bus to the fight, if you max out the number of defending orcs you can bring, the attacking player only gets one follower to bring :D

@Ossoi got my sous vide, cooked a chicken breast on it. I cooked it at 145F for 2 hours. Was pretty good. I've been able to get similarly juicy chicken breast via a slow cook on a grill and in the oven, but not nearly as consistently cooked (edges over, inside OK) and only with great effort...
