Huge Mets upset this week, you can now get random units of various levels between rounds instead of unit and global modifications. Absolute madness, and very fun.

Units have point values to bring on the board, you preset your army then go into battle. I did fairly well with a Zerg strat but one well placed high point unit can wreck you. Synergy is everywhere and very tactical.
