I wish I had used a guide (and questie) for the first bit of the game. The Barrens ran me around really bad. It's cleared up a lot as I've left that zone behind but I really blew a ton of time doing very little.
So the joke is "hey, you like anime too, how about checking out this porn comic I like, let's see if our tastes are similar, oh you don't even understand my reference, get fucked normie."
How esoteric.
The queue still has some size to it but it took a lot longer to get there. It won't take many transfers for it to be no problem showing up to play at any time.
That's kind of how I feel about Kripp. He's making the best damned buggy whips you ever saw but the Hearthstone market is shrinking.
Also I really like that speech and any opportunity I get to post it is aces.
Let's assume there's this pod of southern conservative closeted racists out there and we are going set their 2nd Amendment rights in conflict with legal mass black gun ownership.
"They'll just shoot each other even more than they already do. Who cares."
The transfers are best taken advantage of by people that are mostly solo and found themselves on a mega pop server by happenstance. Trying to move entire guilds can't be a good idea unless you believe that Whitemane is going to end up low pop after.
There's a limit, yeah. By their own admission they are not using their tech to its highest potential. Their reasoning is that if they have big layering now when they go to remove it as part of phase two the queues will be massive and they'll be right back where they started.
You don't remember Charlie Murpy's True Hollywood Stories? There was a spot for a while there when every chat channel in every online game had some serious I'M RICK JAMES BITCH action all up in it.
There's been a number of "boomer dad plays classic zoomer son plays bfa" things made up but in truth it's just a very popular meme at its foundation. Asking what it has to do with WoW would be like asking what Rick James had to do with WoW back in 2004. It's just the popular thing everyone's...
They are iterations of the Wojack meme (the feels guy).
In terms of practice the boomer is the old guy (Gen X usually) and the zoomer is the young guy. Most of the jokes and references are along that young/old axis.
My queue was a half hour (queued just about a half hour ago, got in). Last night I checked around 11:30 central and the queue was still 9000+ but at 2 in the morning it was gone.
I've been hopping about some and anyone that just wants to play can play. Anything below full is instant. Some of the full servers tonight had thirty minute or lower queues. Two new servers is fine but it's not what they need to do. They need to open up Faerlina, Whitemane, Herod and any of the...
I've wanted to go back and rewatch all the old Disney shorts for a long time. I used to rent a bunch of different VHS tapes as a small child and I'd really like to check them out again in HD.
Those names make more sense for Alliance I think (also I think Whitemane Privilege is perfect). Horde should be more along the lines of "Where Da Whitemane At?" or ""Problem, Whitemane?"
It's like Field of Dreams but this time when the old players of history return to the field Kevin Costner pisses on their shoes and when they don't get the hint tries to run them over with his tractor.
1. They didn't have enough servers ready to go with the name reservation. Lots of people made plans based on that list and are somewhat priced in to stick it out.
2. They decided not to fully utilize their layering technology and thus the servers are not at their actual maximum capacity. They...
Yeah, they said that once people are max level (no idea what that means exactly) there will be server transfers. I believe the same restrictions then will apply now - can transfer from PvP to PvE but not the other way around. To casual FoH then you'd want to start as Horde on a PvP server and...
Everyone is going to forget one or two shitty nights if things smooth out but if this is just a mess all week (and a complete dumpster fire on Friday/Saturday/Sunday) because the people running the show don't want to do anything more because players are going to "quit in droves" anyway the...
First night experience -
Pretty good! I was able to squat at char select enough ahead of time to get in right away. The first few levels were rough with the swam of players but from 4 or 5 onward it was smooth sailing. Got trapped in Thunder Bluff for like ten minutes rubber banding back each...
Having played on a number of Daybreak's Everquest Time-Locked Progression servers this has gone several orders of magnitude better than anything they've done in years.
