Do people really, really want to wear a headset, while standing around waving a couple controllers to play a game? Is that really what they want? Me? Not at all. I'd prefer to wear a headset while sitting a comfy chair using some type of console controller or controls built into the armrests...

If they can manage to positively change the Skill tree in the same positive way they changed Skill Gems / Sockets, they will have reached a state of nirvana.

You still use the same currency items to change slot colors and add sockets to the gems. No need for trying to link them. That is all I was referring too.

Ok, Jonathon cleared up how gem slots/colors work. Really nice.

Maybe. I'd swear Jonathon was asked by Tarke about the need for fusings, and he said they wouldn't be needed and ppl will need to migrate off them or something. I'm sure we'll find out later.

Yea, no more fusings needed. The gems will drop with up to 6 sockets, all of which will be linked by default. I think the RNG comes in for the number / color, and I am sure they said you can change colors. Haven't heard of how you might be able to add sockets to gems.

Damn, there is going to be such a huge spike for PoE coming in December, maybe the biggest league/xpac.

It could also allow you to replay the Story to get the PoV's of each of the characters (all of whom I imagine have some tie in to characters/events in current BDO).

Gotta say, the new Shadow Arena looked really good in every way.

Couple stories out about MS bringing AAR to Xbox as well, with full cross play.

Its an MMO set in a time prior to current BDO, far enough back that only a little will be recognizable. The "single player" content is just the Story campaign. Not sure where Massively got the "survival" part from. The reveal presentation was pretty badly done, or the translations were.

Look at the detector thing on your shoulder, it will be "looking" in the direction of BT's and start to freak out if you get close. If its looking right, you go left.

Game requires patience. Its funny watching streamers who are used to a "faster" paced story/game going through Death Stranding.

I'm curious how Blizz will make Lilith be the "bad guy", considering her existing lore. If they set her up as wanting to cull the weak from humanity, and rule the rest while shutting Sanctuary off from Heaven / Hell, that would make a bit of sense? Then we would be sent to Hell to free the only...

That is sorta what I want to see, an "evil" Nephalem that we as the MC need to deal with, since as far as I know, we've never had to do that before (outside of a "test").

I'll take Lilith's Summoning over any of the cutscene's presented here for artistry and drama, the last two minutes are the best Blizz Cinematics has ever done. As for telling a piece of lore for the game / franchise? Not sure, but I think the D2's cinematic edges out Tyreal's sacrifice slightly.
