I agree. The article makes it clear that the Edmonton teams leadership was inept until Darrah arrived, but even then they ignored the issues that the Austin team brought up (the team with actual mmo experience).

I want to make a snide remark about some of the Edmonton devs taking 1-3 month Stress vacations while theorycrafting Anthem. Its remarkable that they were able to release what they did, even with the game needing another 1-2yrs of cooking.

YOU are limiting YOUR access to a game because YOU do not like the "store" they are using. So YOU want to punish a company that is making a decision that hopefully will make them more money just because YOU don't like the "delivery platform" they are using. This has nothing to do with the game...

Playing through BL2 again, and to be honest... right now, the game is pretty ass. Lots of little things that are just tedious, like ammo/cash not being autolooted or so many guns with really unnecessary scopes that zoom in too much. I think Destiny may have spoiled me in terms of gunplay / QoL...

So this was a surprise announcement during the Gearbox PAX presentation; Risk of Rain 2. Looks like it could be pretty crazy. Early Access on Steam at the moment, $20, with a deal where if you buy it you get another copy for free. Watching Bahroo stream it at the moment:

There is a codex entry that I stumbled upon explaining why we can't fly anywhere and why travel is either land-based or sea-based. The Shapers placed a jetstream over the continent/world which doesn't allow anything to get very high.

The game just gets better once you get out of the Ashina Castle area, opens up so much. Reminds a lot of Bloodborne in its world design and all the little items you can get. Very well done game.

Those all seem really nice changes, especially being able to move nodes AND being able to choose which node gets buffed by a Modifier.

This change: Adding the ability to toggle visibility of map modifiers on or off. Best thing ever.

Is there a new limit to the range / number of nodes that a memory modifier can reach? Just popped one, and it only affected the 5 most immediately connected to the node. None of the nodes past the 5th got the buff, even though there are many, many nodes connected across the map.

Just watched episode 1, and if they are all nearly as good or better, then this series is gold.

The proper download should have the Synthesis folder, with 2 tracks inside. I haven't noticed a difference in map drops, but I still haven't "completed" all the t6 maps yet. I have noticed that there is a distinct difference in drops between "magic" and "rare" map quality. Guessing this why...

Thanks for the effort, but if you re-read what I posted, you should see that I've already downloaded the extended soundtrack that is available to me under digital downloads. The issue is that it is not downloading the updated soundtrack for Synthesis, and I've not seen a way to make it do so.

Has anyone bought a supporter pack this league been able to download a new extended soundtrack? I bought one for Betrayal and downloaded that soundtrack, currently when I use the digital downloads link it just downloads the same soundtrack I got last time (nothing new in the Expansions folder).

Yea, I am seeing that now. Though its just as I go to the streamer for the first time... I see the little message in the upper left corner saying "xxx will be back shortly. this ad supports them". Not sure if the streamer opted in for this or not, but I've never seen ads on some of the channels...
