Wooo, there sure are some Anthem white knights in the Anthem reddit. Its rare to see so much mental gymnastics taking place to justify a $20 skin in a $60 game (and man do they dislike Apex).

Has anyone who recieved a friend invite in the past 7hrs or so got the invite in the email? I'm beginning to think they've disabled invites to keep the server pop down, since I've yet to get anything in my email.

They may have disabled friend invites at the moment, but if they did not, you login at the beta website, then use the friendlist there to invite (I think). The people you invite will get an email with the code that they redeem at the beta site.

Wraith girl has a portal ability where she drops the entry port, then has to run to wherever they want the exit port to be (dunno if there is a time limit for exit placement), which can be really nice. The Robot has an ability to make those tether lines that ppl can then use to get to wherever...

If the second run through had been streamlined a bit more, I think the game would have flowed better into the final run.

What needed to be "fixed" for an out of date demo? The worst problems were connectivity, and the loading screen issue. Doesn't seem getting that fixed would take gigs of data.

As long as it doesn't try to be too serious, it should be fun like the first.

The only thing that matters is the rate at which you acquire the ingame currency, if it is like Destiny, then these prices are a non-issue. If it would take you a week of 8hr/day play to get that 40k gold... that is bad. Though I am a bit biased in that I don't care for the Javelins much...

I really like what I'm seeing in regards to loot, especially the special ability loot you get. Should allow for a lot more variation than what we see in Destiny.

Haven't seen any streamer have any issues with flying using kb/m. Gameply looks ok, but it depends on who I've watched.. AdmiralBahroo / Shortyguy both "get" the movement and gunplay, so with them the game looks smooth. Others who haven't been that interested (Cohh/Goth) make the game look clunky.
