In Skyrim you can't do anything with other players around you, grouped with you, playing with or against you. Your friend has a point about Black Desert trading / crafting limitations, but he demonstrated it quite poorly.

PvP wise this game is worse than Archeage because at least during the first weeks there was fun PvP going on, GTA'ing Austera, doing boat stuff and tradepack robberies. Then PvP got gear dependant. Players going around 2shotting everyone. In Black Desert the karma system is so imbalanced...

Black Desert best classes right now : Ranger / Witchzard. PvP, PvE, it doesn't matter. Korean developers won't do anything about NA/EU gameplay balance. Whether they're clueless or don't care doesn't make a difference. I like the game but I don't think it'll hold that long.

It's not an urgent issue since there's no actual PvP going on in this game right now.

Remember there's no hard cap leveling wise, 50 is a soft cap, there's already lvl55 people out there. Level 55 after 10 days, I guess you can call them grinders.

S4 was better than S3 but writing wise there's still a lot of stuff that feels bad, forced, unlikely or just pure nonsense (VP).
