Fraser punching him out would have done jack shit, so just stop with that. The bigwigs would have spun it as evidence of a violent disposition, painted him as the aggressor vs victim, and he still would have been black listed
I ran pvp faction missions in reekwater last night. That’s why you always see RW flip to war but no one declares - no one wants the zone, they just want those sweet sweet faction tokens. Over 5k per run, takes maybe 15 minutes per loop, if that. Almost a have a full set of alchemist armor...
Ice Troll Tribes was a survivor mod, though. It’s more DayZ or No Man’s Sky than MMO.
Special gear for special zones is one of those things that is cool on paper but shitty in practice. It’s just another piece of niche gear cluttering up your inventory and more often than not, it’s a gear...
Early to mid ARR is clunky. Best way to describe it is patches 2.0-2.3 are like the 1st season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. It's cheesy as fuck, you cringe more often than not, but there are a couple highlights that keep you watching.
It does get much better, though. They ease up on...
Tip for Spriggans: When they spawn, their AI is locked onto attacking the doors. Players can body block them and slow them down significantly. They will not attack players until they touch the door.
I think they like raiding in FF because
1) WoW has a bad habit of artificially gating content to gear levels - not to say FF doesn't have gear checks for some content, but in WoW it is a lot worse. That makes it so you can't just "jump in" and try the content
2) It rewards mechanical...
You didn't read it very well.
They actually admit that at max level, surplus gold is shit. Surplus means what you get to keep after any expenses, like repairs or taxes. That is because the main source of gold dries up (the yellow 1-off quests that cannot be repeated), which is why the lower...
This quote stood out to me
Like people have mentioned, the creation is basically being propped up by the 1-off gold sources during leveling. Once you get towards the max levels, that starts to dry up and the repair costs/fees begin to grind down your gold stores. I don't think they have a...
I figured out a rapier build that is good. Stacked keen tondo perk items (increased chance of crit on enemies with tondo bleed), then those talents that reduce CD both on hit and on critical. Tondo mobs, flurry them for almost guaranteed crits, then watch as your cool downs refresh very...
I was thinking - I wonder if the 3rd Antman movie was pushed way back because they decided to rewrite some of the plot after the success of Loki? Since last I heard the movie was supposed to heavily involve Kang
They supposedly fixed the issue where vendors wouldnt refresh, preventing you from getting the really nice clothing schematics to actually allow you to have more control over how you look.
But ya, I probably wont bother revisiting the game until they add some actual storyline DLC content.
Repair kits are useless unless you’re the one making them, which you only can if you have high crafting skill (which most don’t)
The prices people are charging for them is equal to or exceeds the raw repair cost of the item, which negates the use of them. Plus you have to sacrifice crafting...
It is interesting academically- I can’t recall a mmo with rampant deflation. It’s easy to tell many people don’t understand it. Like the posts blaming gathering or crafting being available to all as the cause, or loot drop numbers. That has very little to do with it. Goods only have a worth...
Most threads involve people complaining about sinks, so you always get the fucking market barons going “I got rich selling shit, imagine complaining about gold sinks” with no understanding of where gold comes from.
Invasions net people gold for a loss, but the destroyed town infrastructure for...
Vampire talking about a lack of blood, but they aren’t wrong. The general player base is fucking stupid though.
“hur dur make money selling stuff on market board”
You smooth brained fucks, do you understand market is transfer of wealth, not creation? I want to delete their fucking forum...
Like others mentioned, Jet came across as the best. But in a way his character is probably the easiest to pull off because he was always the grounded "adult in the room" in the anime.
After reading those notes, I bought every fucking t2 refinement material I could that was listed at dirt cheap prices. I've got thousands banked now lol
NW doesn’t even reskin most of them is why it stands out. There is a big difference between “reskinned human model” and “literally the same human model in 10 zones”
It’s questionable AGS would have fixed the issues even with extra time. Many of the current issues were reported by alpha/beta players and never acted upon
A surprisingly large number of people have trouble separating a fictional characters views from the author/creator/performer’s views. It’s fucking stupid and just creates some sanitized world, like the CCP or Taliban did their scrub through
I suspect in their minds eye, they saw high levels buying t1 materials from noobs. But because currency is so hard to get, the high levels just gather it themselves
T1 nodes need to either have fast respawns or be way more plentiful - I go to iron or hemp areas and everything is just picked clean
Yes...so at half a gold coin per salvage and 10 gold per mob once every 10-15 mobs means that after 20 hours of just gold grinding, I can maybe pay my 5 day house tax!
The sink to earn ratio in this game is fucking dumb right now.
Big gold sinks are
Repairs
Taxes
However, the game has no reliable gold generation mechanics. Town upkeep is very expensive- to the point that towns outside of core ones like EF or WW lose money on most servers. Housing taxes are way too high. Repairing gear at high levels runs you around...
For furnishing leveling, warm iron sconce seems to be the play for 0-50. 15 lumber, 5 iron ingots, 5 oil. I did a circle around weavers and left with like 600 oil. Salvage returns a decent amount of lumber as well
It's hard to tell if the invasions are overtuned or the players undergeared. However, I will say that the layout of a fort for war vs. a layout of a fort for invasions aren't really compatible. You -NEED- T3 repeaters for the invasion waves. Explosive cannons are almost completely worthless...
They need to fix lots of shit
1) House taxes are fucking insane for something due every 5 days - they're instanced so its not like it is a limited resource, there is not enough predictable gold flow once you exhaust standard non-repeatable quests to actually pay that long term, and the market...
