depends on your budget and what cornerstone tmrs you have. 56 is fine if you are working on first dual wield and dual cast. i started earlier than that, only refreshed here and there.

Tmr farming is slow, but eventually you'll see yourself break through. Events will get easier, resulting in even more growth from event items. Pick your best character and focus on best In slot for it. Better to have one amazing character than 2 good ones.

There's a 50% chance of being paralyzed reach round. Means support have to cure instead of healing or buffing or debuffing. For anyone that can't get all 5 immune, your companion is a bad idea. The resist on debiffs are enough rng as it is

1st go, wiped after 30% threshold. might have forgotten to thunder attack? 2nd go, forgot to switch weapons. only "fire" attack was companion Noctis. didn't make it but 2 rounds after 50%. i think this might be easier than the last one w/ no white magic.

Timber tracks is over 4x the vortex for leveling, plus gives loot & rank exp. I can't ever see doing the vortexes again. if i need to burn energy quickly and can't start up the macro, i'll do wicked peaks. My Medius is ~86%. I got lucky and pulled a few and had him in my tmr party for a bit...

since I have emp, deceided to start working on some magic tmrs. what's best to start w/? I have Ace (20mp 30mag), few shantos (30mag), few arcs, letter & arms guy but I assume Emp can't use a sword? I have 2 max level exdeaths in my arena party, both do fine w/ less than 500 mag.

assuming they are all maxed, does that team have issues w/ any story quest? I would think not. If you don't have a tank, good to have one on stand by as some events require it. my RL friend who plays is F2P and doesn't macro, so he doesn't have good dps. To beat events he has to min/max...

Google Chrome plug in for remote desktop. I'm a bit shocked at how well it works. When i wake up, i stop the macro and do arena. Then am hour or 2 later, ill do whatever i need for dailies and events. Then remote back to pc and restart the macro. Stop it and arena when i have time.

in arena, you never run out of mana unless someone osmosis you. casters are great in arena because of the 999 cap, and mages hit it early. outside of a few encounters in pve, mages are far behind. cecil, lightning, exdeath, dark fina, emp will be a great area team that won't need any TMRs...

I think it depends on your characters. When I pulled Gilgamesh, i was around rank 40? No zidane, so no dual wield. I spent lapis to get Gilg's glove and don't regret it. It was an instant huge jump in my physical damage and really pushed me over the edge in completely many of the events.
