Are Wizards more or less gimped Mages with ports in classic? As in there's very little reason to play one that early? I kinda want to give it a shot. Wiz or Ranger. Feel like both are terrible until Luclin+ though. AM/EQ and HS are where it's at.

Different guy I think, remember the Agnarr version saying people thought he was the Phinny version. Only played with the Agnarr version, good dude for sure.

Sometimes I think they make these server rulesets intentionally terrible so that they can A) Harvest ideas from the player-base going "wtf, why not do this other thing instead" because the company doesn't have ideas, and B) Look good when they change the rules due to popular demand.

That's awesome, I can keep going with the game. I'll keep a look out for those chests. So far this game has been well worth playing, hope Secret of Mana gets a similar 3D remake (though the fact that it already got that shoddy remake a couple years ago probably kills the possibility).

In ToM, what's up with the ??? Seeds? I've been farming for a good half hour in MH and haven't seen a single one. Characters just got to level 38, so maybe they don't drop until then. I'd like to keep moving with the story if ??? Seeds drop everywhere after this. I can't remember from the SFC...

Just finished it, 44 hours and it got completely nonsensical towards the end. I liked the game a lot when it stuck to the original concepts. You can tell the Kingdom Hearts / FF13 teams took this game for a roll in the hay. I ended up doing all the sidequests...no trophy popped for them though...

What's the verdict on 100%ing sidequests? Do them all as you play the first time for the EXP benefit, or just check them off when you re-do everything in Hard Mode? I'm making sure to level two Healing materia, as was suggested earlier.

Yeah, regardless of whatever problems this remake may or may not have, in the end, it's all worth it just to be able to walk around these environments in 3D and actually LOOK UP, seeing things that previously only existed in the imagination for the past 23 years.

So far this is really good. There's a great remix of the Corel theme that plays on the train, and I've heard a couple of other tracks pop up "before their time" too. My only issue so far is that the enemies are damage sponges on normal, so fights drag on. I'm probably doing something wrong.

Given that companies are remastering everything under the sun these days, why won't we get a DQ8 remaster on consoles? I'd like Crisis Core too, would have been a perfect time to do it with FF7R on the way.
