Heh, NWN on AOL got me in trouble with my parents. Back then AOL charged by the hour (it was like $4 an hour or something fucking dumb like that). Anyways, I had won a contest that included $200 in AOL credit. So I end up discovering NWN on AOL and thus began the MMO kick. I rang up like a...
Those games also got "big" towards the end. I remember Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis taking up like 10 MB of space on the hard drive and thinking that was a shitload. Then CDs came around and the games themselves weren't too much bigger, so they stuffed them full of shitty videos ;p
That was common for most games back then. Usually you would just have your friend photocopy the book for you or go to a BBS that had a "universal" game cracker you could download that defeated the copy protection.
La Sora Seed was probably the best restaurant I visited my entire time in Japan. Set course meal (either 75 or 100 bucks approximately), but it was so damned good. Especially the beef. It's in the Skytree complex in Tokyo.
1) Option 1 still places a "double tax" on the trader...now not only do they lose their pack, but they lose gold too? IMO the trade pack should act as a sort of immunity to that sort of system if ever implemented. You're already walking slow as hell with one on and the pack is the main prize...
If the game is successful, that may light a fire under XL's ass to more quickly approve changes for the west. I do agree there needs to be rewards for anti-pirate / PK. That would make the game deeper, IMO.
I applied at PRX site also. Trying out Hirani. Wtf is with female attack sounds? So fucking squeeky that it makes a female gnome in WoW sound like Barry White.
We never went all the way up there...Alliance always outnumbered Horde on our server, so 90% of the fights involved trying to kill the guards and control TM. Guards usually pushed people back when enough Alliance died.
Well the movie marketing is basically a bait and switch troll. The commercial totally gave the impression it was going to be the 12 tasks of Hercules: The movie. People might think "oh neat, Greek myth movie with Hercules fighting cannibals and harpies and hydras!", then you watch the movie...
There are basically 2 considerations: Climate for what you plan to grow (some stuff does better in certain climates...temperate is king AFAIK) and location. The best spots will be one near the crafting stations and good access to ideal trade routes (proximity with airships/carriages or rivers...
West definitely is superior in breast size lolTuco, are we able to apply w/o a high level alpha/beta character, or is that needed to evaluate? I came late to alpha, but I'm not exactly keen on putting in tons of time/effort to get to max level, only to have it wiped in the near future.
Curious about the difference between east and west. I've only tried the Nuians and Elves, primarily because I don't care about the furries. Are there advantages to the East continent?
What are your plans for launch? West or East continent? I don't have anyone to run with, so even a RR guild that will vanish in 3-4 weeks after launch is a step up ;P
I figure pirating won't become as big until people start to get comfortable. I figure you will probably have a week of relatively low pirating, then it will begin to rapidly increase.
SS vs. TM rarely got above 100v100 back in the day anyways (cause lag). I wonder if the fucking mushroom vendor will be as much as a pain in the ass. Me: Time to aoe horde! Mraz: GUARDS! GUARDS! *10 forsaken guards start to gangbang you*
At the moment I am...RR guilds tend to be fickle as hell and I don't have a pre-existing guild organization to fall back on in this game. Not sure what I want to focus on in terms of crafting...machines seems cool because of the vehicles, although that is another gilda heavy line of crafting...
My theater was full of comic nerds...Stan Lee got clapping and Howard the Duck got some epic laughs. Some 7 year old near my seat was asking his dad "What was so funny?".
It's basically Godfather retold in the Middle East/a reworking of Bashar al-Assad's rise to power. In both instances, you have a "good" person get corrupted and become the very thing he did not want to become.
I used to only see them in my garage. Not sure how they would be getting into your house unless you left the door open 24/7 or your basement was wicked old ;p
I think LP are a good thing to keep in to discourage overuse of teleporting gathering bots, but I do agree that it's use should be reduced or eliminated in certain matters.
Ya, they tried to balance feels with laughs and it worked. The part at the end especially, when you find out reason the mix tape and the name "Starlord" were so important to him is because both were given to him by his mother.
Last night I was helping a couple friends do a cross ocean trade run, but we only had rowboats. Level 50 jelly killed one and camped the spot where the tradepack sunk...plus it was so deep, you couldn't get it and bring it to the surface before drowning.
Huh? Did people miss the shot where they put in big bold letters that Nova Corp are the military of the planet? It's right after they capture all the gotg folks after they brawl at the start of the movie. I'm not familiar with the comic or nova corp, but it seemed pretty cut and dry to me...
Eh, that's not true. If you make the base house (16x16), there actually is a narrow strip of land around the house that is wide enough to plant trees and crops. In practice, it's actually more farming space than the 8x8 farm you get 1st (if your goal is trees especially, those are hard to fit...
1) It is reasonable. Basic houses only cost 15 gilda stars (I've seen the plans on AH for 5g) and the materials aren't astronomical if you gather the mats
2) Only certain trees can be cut. You either have to find them wild/unprotected, or grow your own. The PVP areas actually have a pretty...
I may get WoD (depends if they continue to nerf the fuck out of Brewmasters/trim abilities that are useful), but this will probably be the 1st expansion where I skip the Collector's Edition.
