I did a play of NV recently, using my PS3. Had to restart the game every 2-3 hours due to the memory leak bug still being there, but it held up pretty well otherwise.

The Pools of Radiance series still holds up pretty well, just some parts are a slog. I mean the graphics are ancient, but the AI and balance is all there. I actually ran through these a year or two ago and was pleasantly surprised at how good they still were.

He is still the easiest "hard" fight in the game. Only caveat is that you are all but forced to use that spear, due to the mechanics of the fight, which is irritating as both a mage or a melee.
