Yep, I'll admit I was using a flawed simulator at the time(still could be now!) and my understanding of tanking mechanics was still developing. Favoring JUST str might be wrong too though. It's close enough to versatility and mastery that you can't just compare that one stat.

Secondary stats aren't king for prot warriors. Str boosts Ignore Pain so it compares well to versatility and mastery. And depending on your HP and content you're tackling, STA might be rated quite high too. AC is always good.

Well, Maw needs tuning too then. But, I don't necessarily have a problem with there being a best dungeon to farm if you ignore gear. That's a very small portion of the population. I would add EoA to the list of "fuck that place" dungeons. Annoying as hell to heal that dungeon.

Why do M+ keystones exist? What purpose do they serve besides allowing people to grief, intentional or not? I was thinking a system based on ilvl and/or clear time would be better at dictating what level of M+ you could access.

DK is not a great comparison because their self healing becomes much less important in raids. In M+, they should actually be quite good. I've never tanked them there myself, but when healing a DK, I have quite a few free GCDs.

To be fair, the frost dk rotation is easier. Not to say enhance shaman priority is anywhere near difficult, it's the hecticness that I really love. But the AE frost dk rotation is braindead simple. Whoever designed the enhancement shaman this expansion should be working on other classes...

Properly played DK should do better AE assuming the shaman didn't proc stormbringer like nuts. Their stun is sorta on demand. No group run speed, but they have grip and brez. I would rate those MUCH higher.

Frost has better cleave/AE damage, more than their lower(than enhance) single target. You can get drums for almost lust. Frost has an AE stun, but I'm not sure how reliable it is. Brez and grip are pretty damn useful though. Elemental shaman has all of that except lacking in the single...
