Just put the parts in pc part picker and it tells you what wattage you need. That's standard operating wattage though. I always leave plenty of wiggle room especially if I'm OC'ing components

Yeah usually it didn't make a difference on my last PC, I just liked the big numbers. This PC has issues where I lose streaming performance if I don't do it. Almost like it'd rendering too much and my stream can't handle it. If I limit games to 144 they stream fine at 60fps

Just built a new PC. Skipping this gen for sure. The 2070S is able to handle anything I throw at it at 1440p Unless the prices are considerably better than the 2xxx

In my quest for better temps I limited my fps in OW to 144 instead of 300 and my temps went from 72C to 65C. I've also been having problems streaming games if I don't limit the fps. Things are weird.

Yep. Father in law does that (to be fair, he does it warm too) and for some reason also makes mashed potato sandwiches. He comes from a rich family but I think he said he picked it up in the army.

I had a can of spaghetti os for the first time in maybe 10 years. Man... Not sure how you guys eat it. The sauce.is so flavorless

I went aggressive fan curve and stress testing seems better - around 68C max for an hour at 100% utilization of the GPU. I'll test OW later and see if it's better I still don't like it requiring the fans so high. Would not recommend MSI based on this alone.
