did a lot of PvP today, took over 8 ports and had a good time. Racked up a decent amount of PvP currency pretty quickly as well. Lost only once to a guy who had a set up specifically counter to my own. He sank after the port was taken due to dots so at least I had that satisfaction. Lol.

Back in the closed Betas combat was a big complaint of mine. It felt slow, and seemed delayed in some aspects. Kid types were also sparse. I want this to do well, hopefully that aspect got better.

I agree, its not a great mechanic. The good thing is as you go up in ships, it gets less bothersome. Also food is so easy to get that it makes it a non factor eventually. It's super shit early on though.

Game is for sure for people who just love pirate/ship games/settings. If you aren't, it'll prob feel pretty boring or shallow. For me, I just love sailing around and looting ships.

I will say, as someone who went full archer, feathers are a pain to farm and they need to let you raise chickens or whatever those little running birds are in the highlands. I basically use up the same amount of arrows farming them than I'm able to craft after farming them.

Fairly deep into building a castle. Went with Limestone, will add more to it as more and more things become available, for now, though I've unlocked everything there is to unlock. I'm pretty disappointed with the decorations and decor you can get/build. Hopefully, they add more as time goes on.
