Finished the game. Character 5's story was the shortest of them all, but by that point anyone with a pulse can figure out where the whole deal is headed and you likely have orange weapons/armor on your posse-peeps so it was just going through the motions. Never did address the lost skill...

There is a Burger King nearby immediately adjacent to a McDonalds. The McDs is perpetually busy and gets a full remodel every couple of years to stay current. The BK? Not so much. I have never once seen a car in their drive thru, even when both lanes of the McD drive thru are spilling out...

The later part of the game has some wonky bugs. I'm on character 5 now and walking through objects / walls and/or getting stuck on surfaces. Lots of random crashes mid combat, posse members getting stuck etc. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but my 'skill' points did not transfer...

Was playing this earlier and it's quite good (and on Gamepass!). It is not based on Deadlands, however, and the devs get really salty when you suggest it might be. (I had asked them about it and they insisted it was based on the 'weird west' pulp genre as a whole and not on a particular IP)

Weird West arrived today on GamePass. I had been very intrigued by this when I saw the announcement last year, so I'm happy to see its arriving 'for free'. Its certainly a more tactical game than I had anticipated!

Yeah if its a 'Repeating Cast' spell you can indeed shoot while the cast is going off. This ONLY works in the primary (aka left hand) spell-slot if you are using Ambi-Hexterous as the right hand is also the 'gun' hand.

Having the second-class gives some interesting added flair for various builds. Its nice that its not a complete intelligence check in that there is a predefined 'best' pairing for given classes.

I've experienced the 'lag' today on Xbox when it loses connection to SHIFT and is trying to reconnect, so it seems to be affecting more than just PC bros. Thoroughly enjoying the chaos of this game AND how differently the classes play from one another.

This is much better than BL3 so far. The combat and action is the same (never was a problem) but the storyline / voice acting / general mayhem is much more in tune with what one expects. I think maybe the legacy of Borderlands as an IP got in the way of them doing the necessary weirdness.

I didn't hate it. The Covenant were done very well and I'm a big fan of Pablo Schreiber so I'll give this a few more episodes to settle itself.
