Riiiight, things make a little more sense now. So, 8 hours in, and my 76 play is terrible at 1.3, D.Va is better at 2.8, and Reaper is 3.3.
I was looking at my overall scores, and I've spent a fair amount of time on Mercy and Lucio as a fill.
You're only as good as the current content you're capable of dealing with. If you were top tier 4 years ago, that doesn't mean jack and shit right now.
Kinda meh, tbh. Enjoy being bottom of the pack most of the time. I do well in most expac's until later into the expansion, DK's have never scaled well, so while I do alright now, I know that in Nighthold I'll be middle of the road, and by the final raid, I'll be dead last.
Unholy is easy, Frost...
For all these healers talking about being under appreciated, just go DPS. Seriously. I'm sure you'll be well compensated and showered with praise and accolades at how well you perform while not standing in shit.
At what point did you wake up and say, "Legion sounds like it is less casual friendly than WoLTK and therefore infinitely more fun -- I'm down for more of that shit."
This is why we can't have nice things, whiny little bitches that can't fucking count.
Death Grip cooldown is 25 seconds. Blood is the only spec that can Death Grip twice, still with a 25 second cooldown. Doesn't matter what class you are, if you encounter a protection spec player you're going...
Really enjoyed them so far, we got stopped at BRH m5 (completed the instance, but not within the timer). I didn't stream the first Mythic+ we did which was Darkheart.
No, it really doesn't (mine didn't roll up at all). Confirmation bias at its best.
Cleared normal Nightmare last night, Xav is a motherfucker. Ursoc is the closest fight to a patchwerk and I'd say Heart of Igglypuff would be an "add" fight.
I'm at ilevel 850, and honor level 14, had 2 PvP world quests giving out 840 gear, one of which went warforged and got me a 850 chestplate. Good times.
I don't think it's possible to make the xp grind harsher without completely destroying the game for the western audience. It's already a massive grind (currently) once you hit 58. Getting past 58 is currently well beyond EQ levels of grind. This has changed in major releases where they increase...
Never seen a game company try this hard to tank their own game.
Awakening Announcement
The content will be released on a bi-weekly basis starting with the Warrior class on August 31st, followed by the Sorceress on September 14th.
That's fortnightly, motherfuckers.
Never bought a weapon, or a warframe, even Equinox which is a major pain in the arse to farm. This includes most of the Prime frames. I traded heavily to get Frost and Mag Prime when they were still locked in the vault a year ago though.
Newer players just have to understand and possibly do so...
This is where I have to disagree about being pay to win. You can get every single item in the game by playing it (grinding for it), outside of the cosmetic stuff that doesn't give any bonuses at all. Platinum, the cash shop money is tradeable with players, so you can farm up items (like prime...
... and this is why you're the prime example of a sperglord.
I WAS AGREEING WITH YOU THE WHOLE TIME. PAYING TO WIN IS AN ILLUSION IN BDO WITH THE CURRENT SYSTEMS.
What I can't understand for the life of me, is when I disagree with "you can't buy your way to victory" and then go on to say "yes, you can spend cash to catch up, get ahead" and in the very next breath say "but that would take a fuckton of cash and time -- but that would be a dumb way to do it"...
Sylas, stop sperging for a minute.
You CAN buy your way to victory (assuming there's stuff to buy) in Black Desert. It'll take a crazy amount of money and time to do so, making it a very long and stupid path to take... but you still can. So normal people like myself realise that if someone...
Well, with very deep pockets you could just buy your way to PEN eventually. At least until the supply of raw material runs out. 90% of my gear is TRI, and going to TET scares the fuck out of me, let alone PEN.
When you said, "get to PvP" did you mean "be competitive with all the other PvPers"? If that's the case, then yes, I agree, the grind to get and remain competitive is quite the time investment -- which is the way it should be. If an instant, or minor gearing/leveling stepping stone to be in the...
PRX as a whole is done with the game, it's no longer "supported" by PRX leadership. I'm not sure BDO was a good fit for PRX to start with, but it was the only decent PvP focused MMO at the time. I think BDO has been out for 5 months now, so that's a decent showing for a title these days. FML...
No. Not even close. Even with an extraction gem, you're still chugging back 250 Large mana potions at the minimum for every full bow or offhand repair (which is about 40mins). You can extend this a little if you're at sausans by using blasting gust, but even that won't make it all that much...
I just went to Monastery, it was empty. Killed the 2 sturdy elites that were up, cleared the place 2 or three more times and left. I got gathering to do.
At this stage you should be buying a Yuria bow, and starting to work on upgrading that til it's +15, don't worry about trying to Ultimate it. Once you've got a +15 Yuria, it'll last you until 55+ and will only be replaced with a Liverto/Kzarka.
