The new method that they figured out a few months after I did mine is really simple. If you're planning on doing it, I would suggest doing it soon as it does wipe the 3ds.

I must have. If Nintendo can't secure their shit well enough to prevent people from downloading whatever they want directly from their store, they kinda deserve it in my opinion. Jailbreaking a 3ds is still useful even if you are against piracy, though that certainly is a big part of it.

It was briefly compromised a few months ago, there was some spyware or some such that got added to one version. Since Avast bought it a lot of people have also expected it to eventually turn to shit.

Using the space in that way makes sense to me, hopefully they implement that.

I just don't get the notch in the screen at all. On the Essential I could understand it, as it was small. On the iPhone it takes up what, half the width of the screen? Are those 2 chunks of screen on either side of it useful in any way?

For pure value, a lot of people are saying that the i5-8400 is surprisingly good for gaming. Only $200, 6 cores (no HT), and while the base clock is only 2.8 GHz, the turbo clock goes up to 4.0 GHz.

Socket fuckery is unfortunately the price you pay for buying Intel. You might want to check out an 8 series CPU since they changed the socket again (the pins and notch on the CPU still line up with the 7 series though) but the only motherboards out for them are the Z370s at the moment.

This is the one thing that bugs me about the Pixel 2 vs the 2 XL. Due the huge bezels on the 2, it is only 0.3" narrower and 0.5" shorter than the XL.
