The Gunslinger's audiobook narrator was fantastic. later in the series (The Dark Tower) the original guy gets in a motorcycle accident and a new guy takes over that blows. But The Gunslinger was just a fantastic reading of the material.

Maybe, enchanters in EQ2 are more like buff bitch wizards. Buffs, fortunately, are set and forget though. They're mostly built around chain casting spells and have an AA that makes each cast speed up the next. They're kinda fun, but you're not a crowd control monster like EQ.

WoW loot has never been exciting. There's been a few cool pieces, mostly legendaries, other than that vanilla - now, the loot has always just been +gooder.

Did you start as defiant? I noticed the exact same thing when I rolled a new cleric back in november. You do like 2 quests after the tutorial then the chains just break and there's nothing.

Powerleveling is indeed crazy as shit now. Playing on FV and in two nights I've gone from 100 aa at level 70 to 1100 aa and level 73 in the cooling chambers place with a friend headshotting dwarves.
