It's very possible you'd still want to play white with these, for Lingering Souls and Stony Silence and maybe Path as well. 2 colors with Field of Ruins/Tec Edge type cards is pretty interesting too though.

The land thing is very real downside, casting it on their 1 or 2 drop is pretty crappy.

Right, the G/B decks may not need a 3rd color now, which opens up other things suck as colorless lands like Field of Ruin/Tectonic Edge etc. It's not a good removal spell necessarily for their Goblin Guide, but it's power is in it's flexibility at low mana cost.

Won my first PTQ ever playing Brainstorms with Thawing Glaciers in good old block constructed. And Thawing Glaciers is orders of magnitude slower and derpier than Onslaught/Zen fetches. People played Brainstorm with Mirage fetches too and those are much worse than them as well.

If they're going to keep using Legacy every couple of years or whatever for Team PTs you can expect there to be shakeups in the B&R list from time to time leading up to those events. Same thing happens with Modern already.

The only time something like that works is when you have a good QB on his rookie contract. After that it's hard to pay a non QB big dollars, pay your QB and maintain depth on your roster.

Guild Leader decided to throw in the towel and a number of key players left and then it snowballed pretty fast from there. Most people that have decided to keep playing are in other guilds now, mostly OGC or EoE with a few in other guilds.

Yeah Kunark is rough. At least it's all once a week instead of Trak and VS every day and VP every 3 days or whatever plus splits and the occassional outdoor dragon, plus vox splits.

Guild isn't disbanding. There have been a few players that have decided to quit including Astral so we will see what happens. Personally I still want to experience the expansions I missed on live so I haven't decided what I'm going to do myself yet.
