The animation is done by the same people as Unlimited Blade Works, so the action should be pretty good.
I hear you on the weapons though, all I see are these:
Ippudo here is pretty damn fantastic. It's Hakata style ramen similar to my second picture above, but heavier. When I go back to Australia, I'll try it there, and compare.
So, the ramen adventure begins!
We start with Sumire, the most famous Sapporo miso ramen in Japan. It has a thin layer of oil on top so that every drop stays hot even in the bitter northern Japan nights.
Next we moved onto a bowl of much lighter Awari Tonkotsu ramen, made by...
I had a goldfish once that was hooked out of it's tank by my cat (who somehow got the heavy lid off) not once but twice. The second time we came home from a day out to find it on the living room floor. God knows how long it was there.
We put it back in the tank and the damn thing lived...
Oh and I suppose I should show this as well. This is the beginnings of my "The Package" - that I am sending to my family in Australia.
Picture is bad quality sorry. My phone sucks at taking pictures when it's dark.
Heading here tomorrow. Taking votes on which ones I should try
Shin-Yokohama Raumen Museum - English
Shin-Yokohama Raumen Museum - English - Shop List
The Japanese do Museums right. Stuff them with delicious food.
Holy shit my mouth is on fire. Now these are some chips with some good flavour and heat!
Doritos hot and sour tacos. A pack is going into the Japan snack package I'm sending
Sapporo is my preferred Japanese beer, but all they had was Kirin.
Triple patty, bacon, cheese, fried egg, chilli, lettuce, tomato, mayo and relish. They call it the mad burger. Honestly, I could have eaten a second. Delicious though.
Japanese people would disassemble it and eat it with a knife and fork.
Me? I'll man up, pick it up, and eat it like a boss, while Japanese people look on with a mixture of awe and disgust.
You'd think the Loatheb and Preparation Rogue would be great in this format, but they're terrible. You'd think Millhouse would be bad, but he's really not.
Pretty sure he means Malygos. Also, if you want English lessons Gavinmad I can provide for only $80 an hour.
Malygos warlock is easily my favourite deck at the moment. It's so stress free to play. You barely have to think, turns just play themselves, until you blast them in the face for 34...
Steve Blum does fucking everything.
"With literally hundreds of V/O credits to his name, Steve Blum is best known as the voice of "Spike Spiegel" from Cowboy Bebop, "Wolverine" from several incarnations of X-Men (animated movies, games, the Wolverine and the X-Men TV Series, The Super Hero...
Dragonball Z is one of the very few anime where the dubbed version is infinitely better than the subbed. The Japanese voice actors for Dragonball, especially Goku, are godawful.
Burgers down.
The beef one was pretty damn spicy. Spicy enough that my friend couldn't eat his. The chicken one wasn't as spicy, but both were delicious. You could really taste the tomato in the bun.
Picked up those lemon chips again. Also picked up Shikuwasa lime chips to go with them but they are kinda disappointing.
Anyway, I've been kicking this idea around in my head about sending a box of something to someone. Originally I was just going to send "the package" to someone in this...
I should just pack a box with a bunch of different weird and wonderful shit, and randomly send it to a regular on here, on the condition they eat it all and post their thoughts.
I'm open to sending people stuff. I sent a Strike FreedomGunplato someone in the states and it only cost a couple bucks. Might want to save it for something you /really/ want though. Or multiple things.
