No game has ever allowed a full install on PS3? I was not aware of that, so GTA5 is the first? Seems odd, then why does the PS3 have 500GB HD options, what is that space possibly used for?

But full HD installs have always been a better performance experience compared to playing off of a disk. I've fully installed every game I've ever played on my 360 since it's launch. It's never required, but it's always the best option.
