Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

My guess is if we're going hard we'll likely not be breaking more than a couple of hours total before dragons/max level or whatever.

    Justice League (2017)

This is going to be awful.

    Also Wizards top Naggy parses!

Well you kind of need them to make caster gear matter and it helps match up with all the extra shit the melee have had added over the years along with the spell revamps. Would just be better if they put Mana Pres on something from a raid or at least a high level dungeon.

I don't really care about it, just seems weird that every caster/priest/hybrid needs an item off some level 25 trashcans. And not just some item, an item that matters more than any of your planar armor will.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

Yeah, in Classic BAM is BiS for almost everyone with a mana bar. And the weapons are on par with stuff from much later on levelwise.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

I never really understood how they go out of there way to get rid of out of era stuff and cool with the Runnyeye revamp being in at the start.

In classic knights tank all raid content because without discs there's not much drop in mitigation between warriors and knights and knights have tremendously more aggro at this stage of the game. When discs do happen, SKs become a real dps class and they're still great group tanks and offtanks...

I use 1996 Arena lands personally. Don't break the bank but obscure enough to have some flavor.

Guru. Or Summer Magic if you want something nobody will recognize as fancy unless you show them.

My wizard is named Malaki, which should have been spelled Malachi, though when I first used it back in the 80s as my D&D character's name I stole it from Children of the Corn not the Old Testament.

Gnome SK and Iksar are not available at launch, but race change potions are avaiable in the cash shop in kunark. I think gnome knights open with Luclin. People get around Truebox I would presume through VMs or similar, I don't know I actually use more than 1 computer to box. There really...

Can catch up very easily, unless the only reason you want to do it is the initial race.

Water pokemons all over the place.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

Kunark is probably my least favorite, maybe worse than classic even. If they do the same timers as Phinny, it's literally going to be Trak and VS every day in OW.
  16. Sterling

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

Wizards are amazing in classic and velious and luclin, good in PoP too, but kunark is fucking awful as a wizard.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

I didn't level on RF or LJ but I'd imagine people will be 50 in 2 or 3 days.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

It sounds that way, but expansions get finished in a few days and with splitting instances and everything else everyone gets all the gear they want pretty much before the 12 weeks anyways.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

Warrior epic is a joke on TLP, there will be so many scales between OW/Instance VP and if needed can do same with SEV.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

Chanter epic is real bad on tlp. Vessel and the dude in Neriak are awful. SK epic is also dumb, needing Marl twice makes it a shitshow. Broken Golem for Wizard epic is also pretty bad. Bard was bad before, but they added guts to Trak.
  21. Sterling

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

Real early on they're pretty shitty compared to casters.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

In non raid settings, Enchanters are by far the most powerful class in early expansion TLP. Charm is OP as fuck. In a raid setting however they don't stack terribly well and there aren't charm pets to be had for all raids.

We didn't open any product for singles no, we didn't get enough allotment to do that and we sold through pretty fast.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

I'd assume they'll be using the reduced timers on all the VP key shit, it won't be the clusterfuck it was on Phinny.

It used to see play in the old Dark Depths/ThopterSword Extended. And not literally every card is going to be 5 stars.

If you're drinking that, you might as well just do a line of coke instead, probably tastes better. Also, I'd probably be interested in doing the race to 50 and first dragon/god kills and all of that if I could have a preformed group to sock with.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

Not sure about the potions, no reason to change from being a glorious gnome. Tikkle is still around, still RMTing to maintain his lifestyle.

This doesn't even include the character revamps that happened in TSS. Skill caps were largely increased, weapon skills, defensive skills etc, which dramatically increases player power.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

Plus you have weekly instances, and you can divide your guild up to do multiples. We killed Aten something like 80 times in era on Phinny.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

I mean that's all nostalgia though. Replaying them on TLP you'll find Velious and PoP as shallow. Luclin has the most stuff to do at 60, and GoD has the most at 65 and the previous content is still relevant.
  32. Sterling

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

GoD is might actually be the best early expansion currently. Kunark is awful, there's so little real content.

    MTG thread

Yeah, that's not going to happen. You could have Counterspell in Standard for a little bit if you make sure it's in a format without a bunch of other good counters. I mean they had Lightning Bolt in M10/11 and Thoughtseize in Theros and both of those cards are stronger than Counterspell.
  34. Sterling

    MTG thread

Would think Become Immense would be more likely than Street Wraith, but who knows. What Modern really needs is actual Counterspell.

With MotM1 I don't think it was quite down to 6 with our regular splits, but we were doing a bunch of splits with like 2 groups. WDC for all the wizards!
  38. Sterling

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

I mean there will be dragons to kill for 3 months each expansion so even if you're kind of slow and take a couple weeks to level instead of 2 days you could still kill dragons, you just won't part of the initial race.
