It definitely gets better after world tier 4 or so. Difficulty ramps up and the item drops are way better. Blue tier items start to impact your skills, which makes it fun.
Ending the correction? This still isn't even remotely a correction. I swear some of you are way too sensitive to red days.
We'd need to drop another 7% or so for a "correction," which is usually a 10% drop.
Which should surprise literally no one.
If you weren't smart enough to get out when it jumped up 300% yesterday, you deserve to languish when it's back at $40 at the end of the day.
We bought points in 2015, VA loan, and got it at 3.25%. Since it's a military town, I was excited that we could potentially get a small premium on the sale by transferring our rate to someone else with a VA.
Turns out, that's a pipe dream now.
Now I'm worried about what kind of rate we'll get...
So I've been trying to avoid reading too much about this one in the event I end up playing it. I've basically run my course in Valheim, so I'm looking for something else to play. Did about 100 hours in Factorio and loved it.
But my question is more about whether this game is in a "finished"...
I was going to post it earlier today. Some of you are going to have a heart attack with this shit -- when the SPY is down less than 1% and you're acting like it's the end of the world. And that was only the first 2-3 hours of the day.
Meanwhile it's back to positive to end the day.
I'm thinking he's just an idiot WSB'er that got super lucky. The fact that he didn't cash out at like $40M was pretty retarded in my opinion.
That he's doubling down on GME means he's hoping he's covering his ass because of Congressional/SEC interest (in which case he's dumb, because that won't...
I don't think we get another huge drop. We probably get a normal correction in the 10% range. People still freak out plenty with those. But for the most part won't remember them a year later.
Does anyone care about Dec '18 or Sep '17 (shit, or was it 16? I can't even remember) anymore?
I haven't watched Netflix in years, but my wife started to watch "I Care So Much" and I figured I'd watch with her. If this is indicative of the writing Netflix has been pumping out, I'm actually embarrassed for them. I watch a decent amount of random YouTube channels (and RLM) that sometimes...
Episodes 4-6 were pretty good. You know, when they actually moved the plot forward.
This one just didn't work. At all. It's trying too hard sometimes. I mean shit, the actual title of the episode was "Breaking the Fourth Wall." Like their entire goal was just to be meta. Another example is...
Kat Dennings is now in it and she was fucking terrible. Probably part of the reason this episode seemed so bad.
Modern Family is also an atrocious show and the spoof (or whatever you want to call it) was poorly done. There wasn't anything comedic and even Olsen's acting seemed bad.
In fact...
It's interesting, because last week I made a comment about technicals, and I actually knew that I'd get a response about how they work if enough people believe in it.
Also last week, I saw an article about how the trailing 52 week return for the market would go nuts in a month or two...
Oh, also, fuck them for doing an after credits sequence. Only reason I knew was this thread, because they've had 15 minutes of credits at the end to piss me off, and now after conditioning me to just give up, add one in? These people are assholes.
Well that was fucking terrible. Not sure if I hated it worse than the first two, but that was some atrocious acting. I was kind of expecting to make this post with an "until it turned into a horror movie," but that part wasn't really good either. It was pretty "smash you over the head" with the...
Yeah, I definitely see us beating this one in the next week or so, and then never touching it again.
They may "finish" it at some point, but we'll have likely moved on.
Said it several times in this thread, but once you beat the base game, I highly, highly recommend installing the Calamity mod and playing that. It's honestly amazing how developed it is compared to the base game.
It's what the final release of Terraria should have been: new items, new...
I actually like Conan's build system better, but the not being punished for taking a wall down is probably the biggest difference.
In Conan, you could spend days building something and if you fuck up, sucks for you. In this, you get everything back unless it's bugged out.
I think the raids (forest is stirring) are based on which bosses have been defeated in the world. It wasn't until we killed the 3rd boss that we started getting Draugr's in them. And it was likely the 1st or 2nd boss before trolls appeared.
If they decided to raise taxes that much, it'd obliterate not just the equity markets, but also the entire economy. While politicians occasionally float these ridiculous plans, I have to imagine the lobbyists wouldn't let them do it.
Regarding inflation, unless we have 70's style stagflation...
In this case, it was because I expected PLTR to beat earnings. And they did. Seems that doesn't matter (and I'm the asshat who said it'd drop anyways). I find technicals to be mostly bullshit.
The AMC thing was just FOMO. I really think them shutting down the brokerages is what fucked me there...
I should start posting my individual stock buys so you all can avoid them. Bought in PLTR at $32.90 and it just continued to skid down.
Bought some more at $29 this morning, and well, I'm negative on that now too.
Add that to my -50% AMC play, and I'm fucking terrible at this.
I still can't even rationalize the crypto thing.
If the entire purpose of them is as a store of value and trade (like a currency), then investing in it for "massive gains" makes no sense.
If it's not currency and as an investment, what the hell gives it any value to keep increasing?
It's...
"And yep, all those folks on griddy were paying 9$ per KWh earlier today and continue to get lubelessly pounded"

So much for all those people laughing at rolling power outages in California. Looks like our entire country is third world now!
I keep seeing these and they're incredibly disingenuous. They're apparently screenshotting it while it's like 7am on the west coast. It's going to be 70 here in CA today.
