    Cyberpunk 2077

I feel like we're playing different games. Denamian cabs, I Fought the Law (mayor), fire crotch guy...heck, I've spent at least 20 minutes talking with that Lumi fucker.

I think some of Mack's complaints are definitely legit. I complained about that shit with a new area and the phone ringing over and over. It pissed me off today as I had two competing quests and so I have a side quest where I have no idea why I'm doing it. I also have ran into a lot more...

    Cyberpunk 2077

I just feel like I'd be good with a 2-3x multiplier on what is currently there. I think I'm level 18 or so now, and there have been a handful of money sinks that are required. I'm at $38k right now. I haven't been able to afford a bike. I was able to afford a few cybernetic upgrades 5 levels...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Yeah, crafting seems like a massively missed opportunity. The looter shooter part kind of annoys me, but it's mostly because crafting is so punishingly expensive. Add in that there's apparently a skill block on top of the rarity of components and I essentially just don't use it. Additionally...

    Cyberpunk 2077

I'm at 20 hours now, and decided to look up the main mission names to see how much more I had. Apparently I'm only about halfway through. Kind of surprised. Felt like I was probably getting close to the end but I guess I've been doing more side stuff than I thought.

Driving places? You know there's fast travel. I'm confused by comments like this. What game were you expecting to play here? Were you hoping for a single skyscraper explorer map?

    Cyberpunk 2077

That's pretty embarrassing. I've posted my PC stats a few times. It was a mid-tier PC 4ish years ago when I built it for PUBG. It's no wonder so many people are pissed about the game. But on PC it's great looking.

Game Pass for Xbox and PC

Just a reminder that EA Play is supposed to be coming to PC Game Pass on the 15th. That's this Tuesday!

    Cyberpunk 2077

Think it's mostly dialogue options, but those can end up changing how things play out it seems. Similarly, having high enough in certain stats can do the same. You can read TJT's post from the last page about how different actions end up with different secondary or tertiary impacts for how...

    Cyberpunk 2077

This is why I was kind of glad I bought it day one (even though I had no intentions of doing so). My natural reaction these days with games is to search for some kind of meta build, but there isn't one for this yet. I will say that dude had a TON of bugs. He probably had more in the first 2...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Had my first crash, 17 and a half hours in.

You all weren't kidding about Panam.

    Cyberpunk 2077

I was driving through the hills on the east side of the map and crashed because I was staring at the cityscape.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Game is weird because in 2023 apparently they had cybernetic arms. So who the fuck knows.
  15. Gravel

    Cyberpunk 2077

1.4GB patch for me. Weird. I think you hold down a key? It should say so on the thing (my int is too low to buy it, so I didn't pay much attention).

    Cyberpunk 2077

I'm on a Ryzen 5 1600, 1060, and 16gb of ram, and I probably average 40-45 fps with almost everything on high. Will take a SS and edit in my graphics settings. Edit: And that's been a disappointment. The chicks in this so far have been...meh. So far Judy is about the best looking one, and she's...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Finished the tarot cards. That was kind of a pain. Pro tip is you can use your scanner, you don't have to be up close and select it. I will say that brings up another (minor) complaint, is that the targeting of items or people to interact with is shit. I've also had a few times where I need to...

    Disc Golf

I used to play around the 2005-2010 timeframe. Played in a few tournaments. It just really fucked my arm up, and living in California the courses are all kind of shit, so I stopped playing.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Forgot another bug last night. Saw a blue drop high up and thought it was a jumping puzzle. Got myself stuck in some scaffolding and had to reload. Also just now, near the 9/11 memorial type thing, on the highway the lanes must've gotten messed up because every car in the right lane tried to...

I think I won last night. Found it in Japantown.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Yeah, warning on that one. I found a piece of junk that was worth $850, but it was autojunked because you have no choice. An annoyance, story related, after Clouds:

    Cyberpunk 2077

Man, that story took a dark turn in act 2. I did finally have a pretty obnoxious bug, where I couldn't get to Judy's basement because an NPC was crouched in the doorframe scared. Had to reload the game to get it to reset. Leaving the area didn't cut it. Had a few T pose runners today too...

    Cyberpunk 2077

I mean, yeah, sure, I can see how doing the stop crime "events" or some of the side missions can be repetitive. I go in, blast some dudes, and walk away with a bunch of trash loot and exp. But there's some story there in some of them. And if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to do any of it.
  26. Gravel

    Cyberpunk 2077

Yep. 1060 here and it defaulted most things to high.

    Cyberpunk 2077

I haven't played too much with the crafting, but are you doing green/blue or higher clothing? I'm thinking the way to approach it is find something you like and just level it up as you go. Not sure if you can get to legendary that way, however. So far I've only got a single purple, from the...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Curious if you thought the story was 5/10 based on the story? Honestly game is probably a 7/10 just for fun to look around at the world. Everything else is a bonus.
  29. Gravel

    Cyberpunk 2077

About 8 hours in and finally into act 2. I'd say when you're coming to the end of act 1 (you'll probably know), make sure you have a good hour to spare. I'll just say it now...this game fucks. The plotline is movie quality shit. Can't wait to see where it ends up. Edit: Oh, and yeah, turns out...

I think no nudity is default? The small details are what makes this. Like last night I was wandering around and started to hear a "cross" thing yelling at me. They've got an actual, working, crosswalk system.

    Cyberpunk 2077

That's why that Reddit clip from PS4 looked so crazy to me. Most places when I run down the street it looks like fucking NYC where I bump into 50 people.
  35. Gravel

    Cyberpunk 2077

Has anyone beat this yet? I feel like the system is kind of clunky, but maybe I need more points in melee to make it work?
  36. Gravel

    Cyberpunk 2077

Wow, that's like a completely different game. I will also agree about the driving. Shit seems super hard. Can't see, massive oversteer.
  37. Gravel

    Cyberpunk 2077

Ooh, yeah, I forgot that one. I was missing my hair once. Reload fixed it. Unplayable.
  38. Gravel

    Cyberpunk 2077

Seriously. I'm almost 5 hours in and feel like I haven't done shit yet (Mario mentioned prologue, which I'm assuming is part of Act 1? I just know I'm not even to the part the trailer showed). Went to break up a mugging or something and got hacked by one of their dudes who kept setting me on...

Only bug I've seen (and it's happened twice) is in cars where I'll hear audio from people on the street as we drive by, and they sound like they're in the car until they finish their quip or whatever. Otherwise, game is super overwhelming. There's people fucking everywhere, items everywhere...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Only about 30 minutes in, but it meets the hype so far. Super atmospheric, movie-like engaging. I'm onboard! Also, on a 1060 here (1080p) and it's gorgeous. Twitch just didn't show it off for shit.
