Her issue is she falls off. Her summons don't scale as well as enemy damage and once your hydras and roaches are getting walked over she can't really do a whole lot. In the early game she is very good at securing early momentum, though.

In general they have molds for all the shoes and sizes so it isn't quite as easy to just make them a size bigger if you don't have the last (mold).
