indeed. i'm not going to get up in arms and rant about it all on their forums. if people enjoy this flavor of everquest, then more power to them. i enjoyed my grind towards the top, but now that i'm level 58 and as maxed out with gear as i can be without selling my life to the game.... eh...

for once i almost agree with you. the server-wide raid suspension is so dumb. i saw a bit on Futurama last night where the two kids are fighting over a ball, so Nixon/Agnew come over and pop the ball by ripping it in half... to "solve" the argument. and i laughed at the parallel.

i hope the game isn't just a race to max level. some of the lower level EQ zones had a bunch of good thought put into them, but on modern EQLive they're completely empty because of how quickly you can blow through levels.

Kegz' meltdowns at the beginning of this year were pretty epic

can a bard at all effectively use the caster DPS merc on the AE setting to help him swarm kite?

re: Wizard for transportation -- there are NPCs that will port you between all the starter cities for free, and druid/wizard NPC porters in EC that will port you to all rings/spires for some plat.

i only had a handful of groups levelling up my paladin here, but i didn't really look too hard. there's levelling groups around though, if you're proactive. soloing my pally to 50 wasn't too tough, so either one is an option. i currently am levelling up/boxing a necro alt, using one...

if i had had a vote, i would have voted that Gata would not have been allowed into TFO even the devs say on the kpemu.com forums "if you have a question, google it" yet gata continually asked questions like "where should i go EXP at level 15?"... and when i told him to google it, he ranted...

Azure Guard is who i play with when i log on P99 (which doesn't happen a whole lot these days) they're an excellent happy-medium between casual and raiding.

in Project M, could your monster gain levels? would be super awesome if your monster could gain levels AND zone. i always wanted to play a gnoll.

despite the raid suspension, there's a bunch of ex-TMO members currently up in Plane of Sky.... ex-TMO members logging on trackers in raid zones.... Zeelot himself was in Veeshan's Peak last night supposedly, post raid suspension. the dust has not settled yet, so i'm gonna wait and see.... but...
