Not getting into beta for this, has made me really want to get some of the MTG games on Steam, but have no idea where to start with those, and the expansions.

As far as I know, the newer versions of the video game MTG don't have as much deck building as Shandalar did. You get new cards, as you win matches, but it's pretty restricted with what you can take in and out of your deck. I could be wrong though, as I haven't played in a long time.

I've registered for beta, but never had any key. Like Ryanz, I must of missed something somewhere. I try the link posted, and I choose Windows PC, and it says I'm registered already. I've gotten emails from them about account confirmation but I never received any kind of key.

Cockatrice is a platform used to play MTG online. Someone made a port for it for Hearthstone. Basically they data mined all the card data from a beta client, and then ported it to Cockatrice.

There's a few that had you just comment on a youtube video, or the curse one (hearthpwn) just had you build a deck and post it. Already had a curse account to log in to and post. But apparently a nearly identical version is up through cockatrice. Might resort to that if I can't win. haha

Was reading that it'll be required to use the battle.net App in order log into Hearthstone. Was data mined apparently that Hearthstone doesn't have it's own login capabilities, and relies on the BNA to do it. Wonder if a perk of beta testing the BNA was Hearthstone beta!!??

The Arena (formally named The Forge) looks pretty interesting. Adds another element to game play where it's about deck building, and your skill in doing so, and not just amassing an OP deck and winning over and over. Will be random heroes, and random cards. Sometimes I'm sure you'll get lucky...

Been looking to get into a game other than Dota2 that doesn't need such un-divided attention. With the way BL2 has gone, with it just being a farm fest, I turned my looks to TL2. With the mods and new classes, I think it may be worth it.
