Maybe I'm a legendary hoarder or something but I never seem to have an abundance of souls. I'm quite happy everytime a rift boss drops one. I think the most I've ever had was 15 at one time. Maybe my reroll-fu sucks but I seem to burn 10 or so every time I have to reroll a legendary.

I wonder what the odds are of getting a SoH gambling 1H weapons. There has to be at least 100 legendary 1H weapons that can drop. -fake edit- According to the D3 game guide there are 45 non-specific legendary 1H weapons. 77 if you add in all the specific legendary 1Hs as well.

Farming for yourself? Absolutely. It was nearly impossible to properly gear yourself in D2 if it wasn't for the massive bot/dupe market. I played D2 for years, years and years and found exactlyoneSOJ and zero Zod runes.

It is impossible to farm for a specific legendary in this game. You can't even "work the numbers" like you could in D2 because at level 70 you're killing level 70 mobs. So they all have the same basic loot table.

No they don't. Weapons effect how your character performs far, far more than a class specific offhand or a slot of armor. Being able to roll an individual weapon type would greatly diminish the feeling of getting a legendary weapon drop. I already think gambling rates should be lowered. I...

It is funny once you get a SoH on your barb you can so quickly speed farm T3 that legendaries just rain down on you. I was averaging maybe 1 per T3 rift but getting 2 on a single rift wasn't unheard of last night.

Obvious choice for new leader seems to be Deathwing, imo. He's played D3 more than really anyone in this thread and is consistently active and doesn't flip his shit.

Bad survivability and sustain but good damage output. He is one of the few characters with teleport so he makes for a very efficient farmer. You basically just rotate his AOE DoTs while firing his single target basic then repeat.

I run between Bloodshed and Ploughshares and, honestly, it feels like the HOTA AOE is fine for me. The HOTAs are so cheap that if I need to kill a stray mobile it isn't a massive deal. Monarch's scepter is also fairly clutch is providing AOE to kill a bunch of trash.

BTW I'm trying out a new barb variant of the standard HOTA build I'm really liking. It'll be better when I get more IK for more +Fury. Basically the idea is to stack Fury to interact with HOTA and Reaper's Wraps. I dumped all my primary paragon levels from MS to Fury. So that nets me...
