Got a link to page that shows these stats? I can find a breakdown for overall playoffs but not just the Finals. Jordan has a better career FG% overall in the playoffs currently, but can't find a list for just the Finals. 8 more games played still a larger factor for me.

Lebron has it easy. Should be averaging 50 playing with the most expensive payroll in the league and fellow former gold medalists Kyrie and Love. It's unbelievable he's hand picking the most expensive team in the league and losing.

It's actually quite impressive for this underdog Warriors team to be playing so well against the highest payroll in the NBA by a longshot.

For my money it's because a lot of teams have years when the run just isn't there. Rookie years, years when you're young, guy's hurt, not a very good team (look at Jordan's first 3 years, they were 7th or 8th in the conference just barely squeaking in...and they have to play the Celtics twice)...

Well, I tend to think what matters is what you did in the Finals more than the rest...but which round one did the Bulls lose because Jordan had an off game? Only times Bulls and Jordan lost in the 1st round was the first 3 years of his career, his first season he was a rookie against the Bucks...

That isn't really apples to apples though. Maybe if Arsenal had gotten out of the Round of 16 in the Champions League (I know, I'm laughing too) this year, and...well...won the league. Then it would be apples to apples.
