Its simply a different funding option. It won't be in because it would have required pre-paid tiers for people like you ;-) The only funding that really sucks are ftp microtransactions.

More importantly than anything you've listed is that monks won't be in at release, I'm still funding it because it is the closest thing to old school out there, I liked both of Brad's prior MMOs and if pantheon gets funded it is likelier that more old school mmos may crop up on kickstarter.

It seems pretty clear this is VG 2.0 with slightly slower combat, more difficult bosses and hopefully EQ like loot/questing.

Agree with treesong needed more on old school aspects explained: trinity and slower leveling. Disagree on this - he was pretty specific in one of the videos: instances are for when they want a story dungeon. Otherwise non instanced.
