I pretty much agree with all of this.

I really think that the best part of the beta was how smoothly it ran. Hit detection was good, no rubberbanding, smooth animations and movement except that one day when they were randomly assigning people to different regions.

No no no. Don't try to raid the miasma events. Any more than 15 people and those events scale like crazy and you can't down them. It's actually easiest with 9 per miasma event.
