It's built to be played as an actual cube. You print all the cards out and make proxies out of them, get 6-8 players, shuffle up the proxies and put them into random 'packs' of 15 cards. Then you draft the packs as normal. Then you play a big fucking multiplayer game with the decks you drafted.

Quakeworld was very playable on a 33.6 assuming you were connecting to an ISP or university that was near a major backbone connection. You could get ~80-120ms pings with a good ISP playing on local region servers.

It's WoW with guns and better combat. Every game subsystem like crafting and talent points is more complex than WoW. It's basically just WoW cranked up to 11, with guns. If they can actually design decent raid encounters the game should be a fucking blast for anyone that just wants Super-WoW.

The internet has actually gotten a lot slower for realtime applications (aka games) thanks to Deep Packet Inspection and other traffic shaping techniques. We have way more bandwidth now but real-world latency is higher in ways that aren't reported by ping times.

You're a retard. Quake didn't have head/body region hitboxes. Also the entire environment was completely static. Quakeworld did have very advanced player movement prediction based on vectors, but it was considered very ahead of it's time, and it still wasn't as great as you remember on modems.

Btw, if you don't overclock you should not get the K-type Haswell chips. The non-K parts actually have a few extra features that got cut for sake of overclockability. They're minor things, like enhanced virtualization features, but they're technically better, and cheaper.

Higher scores on synthetic benchmarks, basically. In real world use, all you do is use more power and throw more waste heat. The built-in turbo mode is way more efficient and stable and produces only slightly less performance.

There's a lot more possible turn 1 combo decks that people actually play in legacy. But if though its possible to get turn 1 draws, they still don't usually combo out until turn 3 or 4. And yet, because MTG is such an interactive game, these aren't even the best decks. Well, not usually.

All I know about Skill is that it's highly weighted towards the present. Go 50-20 a couple matches in a row and your skill rating will skyrocket.
