I like the idea of 2 tlps per round with 1 being potentially experimental while the other uses repeated / stable mechanics. Test away on a tlp but don't make that the only option.

They've kept the dlc model throughout their games but put in passes where you can basically lease all the dlc and play that way. If you're someone who tends to pick up a game, splurge, and then put it down for a while, just paying for a monthly dlc pass when you do play can work.
