She went from a beautiful Red haired green eyed goddess into something with a horribly deformed Tree Bark arm thing. Chise's innocence was always the best, but not when she gets fucked up from it. And I'm not a fan of the even more immediate death sentence she now has.

It's comparable to that, yes. They had to change the story, in that his mentor was killed towards the end of the first. So they brought in a new cast of characters that were cowboys instead of Kingsmen.

I just finished watching The Golden Circle. It wasn't as good as the first, but it wasn't bad either. I enjoyed it. But it's difficult to trap lighting in a bottle twice.
