Started watching this tonight, pretty creepy stuff. Music is doing a good job of putting you on edge.

I doubt the studio is going to change its mindset on that aspect, it was the foundation for Zero Dawn, and I'm sure it'll be in this version as well. If Aloy had been Alan, and Elisabet Sobek had been Michael Sobek, the game would not have recieved as much praise, imo. I never played Zero Dawn...

Was the pov during combat the same in Zero Dawn as it appears to be in this sequel? In this is really seems like Aloy is trying to stand out of the of your view, while in other over the shoulder games, YOU are looking over the characters shoulder. Looks very odd in how they did it in that demo.

I think AoT, Demon Slayer and now Mushuko Tensei have upped my expectations for quality animation. All the new series this season are trash in that regard, except for Bisco. As for story, I like the Lazy Prince series the best so far, with Bisco being 2nd.

I'd say the biggest value MS saw in acquiring Activision/Blizz were the mobile IPs: Candy Crush, Hearthstone, and CoD Mobile. Those 3 games will bring in the most $$.

LBG here, specifically the Nargacuga LBG. Not sure if there is a better gun to use, especially if you like Pierce, which makes me sad. This also kinda applies to armor sets, there isn't really anything worth getting besides the 3-2-1 + Helm of your choice setup as far as I can see. Though...

If the show runners lack the humility to trust the source material, no amount of money will make the show enjoyable. We've seen this with WoT and Foundation. Narcissistic millennials cannot resist thinking they can do better than the author of the story they are working with.

So the PS5 doesn't support 1440, only 1080 or 4k. Is this due to them thinking most owners will be playing on TVs?

Considering the casting we know of so far, I'm not sure it can be focused anywhere other than Numenor, unless we're going to get PoC Elves. Given how WoT was ruined, I can only see this as a disappointment.

I really hope MHW2 doesn't include Rampage, I just don't find them fun to do at all. Sadly, if I want to upgrade some weapons, I need to do quite a few Rampages to find one with certain Apex mobs, which are part of getting those Apex mobs to appear as quests at hr100. Too many hoops for that...

Got a new monitor today, a LG 32GP850-B. Pretty nice, but I fear it might be bad. The lower right corner is pretty bright. =/ It is pretty amazing to play games at far above 60fps though. Was playing MH: Rise with HDR turned on... my eyes, my EYES! Really intense color, had to switch it off.

Allmother dead, but there is still 1 mob I haven't fought yet, which is blocking my ability to see the final weapon in a few trees. Don't want it spoiled, but when does this last monster appear? I'm at HR52 now.

Anyone unlock Azuros S armor? There are no high rank missions specifically for Azuros at all, so far (I'm only hr24). I've killed Apex Azuros from the 7* mission, but the materials I got from it did not unlock the armor. Kinda annoying as I'd like to get the legs.

We farmin deco's now. Got the gun I want, got the armor pieces I wanted... now just to fill them out. Having the LBG stay within its optimal range seems to be a bit more touchy in Rise than in World. I feel I end up having to be too far away, and with the bullets having travel time, it kinda...

Really missing the items you could order from the Argosy in this game. Started with 200k, but that has dwindled fast with buying weapons / armors.

Considering buying the Xbox Elite series 2 controller, and I noticed it comes with a USB-C cable, anyone know if I can use the controller via it being wired? I'll only ever use it on my PC, and wired it the only way it would be connected.

3060ti here, from what I've read elsewhere, this is most likely an issue with how shadows are rendered in PC due to how they had to be rendered on the Switch. It seems to be possible that modders could fix the issue.

Superhuman Era is pretty good, but releases seem pretty sporadic.
