Gambit needs a solo queue, and there needs to be more risk for the Invader's team. There is simply no risk for Invading and then dying, this should probably be changed in some way. Maybe have the motes the Invader drops be more meaningful, like refill Supers or ammo, or become high dmg grenades...

If you're soloing; Vitality Mantle, Thundreproof Mantle, Palico NPC (two palico's are better than one); Ancient Potion if you die, Max Potion for instant heals. If possible, use a Fire element weapon, and take some bombs for the end.

Someone did math and the Princess Arrow III was a pretty close second to Cera, and a lot easier to build / augment. I'm still not quite sold on "the higher max element is always better", specifically for Ice, the Kushala bow is just so much more versatile.

The fully upgraded Bone-line Bow isn't terrible at all, especially if your build has free element easily obtained, the only drawback is the element is Water.
