Played all afternoon without a disconnect, or having someone else disconnect during a hunt. Feels good. Almost done with everything, I think; need the Phantom Bird, and reach HR100 (this unlocked the Rocksteady Mantle, right?).

I get what you're saying, but I think this poise system makes sense, make use of parries / attacks to make then off balance so that you can get a critical hit in.

You can buy the gear you want, so you if want to get rid of the "pvp disadvantages" you'll need to do more than you want to get the money, or join a low/mid-tier guild that fight against non-soft cap+ guilds. Though I think you've said all this before.

There are quite a few CC options from items, or weapons. Hammers are good at Knocking down mobs, Status weapons can be good for Paralysis / Sleep, and then Traps. Flash pods are best vs. mobs that are flying, since it will knock them down for a few seconds of free dmg, while using them on...

Are you saying a r6 armor piece is going to have the same Def as a r8, when both are fully upgraded? As far as I remember, a piece of armor has a limited number of times it can be upgraded, so the r8 -should- have higher max Def, just like it has higher base Def.

I really like the 3-piece Kirin set bonus, too bad we can't capture Elders, but its great for running tempered investigations that you can capture.

The Brace Jewel is a tier 3 gem, so you'll need a tier 3 gem slot on a piece of gear; atm you have three t1 and one t2. Look at the little triangles at the bottom of the gem icons.

Yea, for Kirin, I have 2 thunder resist, Vitality Mantle, and Thunderproof Mantle.

There is a good armor sphere event going on this week, it has you fight Barroth + Diablos, then one more Barroth. Take a couple traps and make use of the environment.

If you can, use a Thunder element weapon, Bagel is 3* weak to it across its entire body.

Whatever man, I save them and use them later on. I do not intend to run again like I did on console, just like I intend to have more than one set of armor. Anything I can save for later use is more useful than using them on armor I'll not be using anymore... ever.

I believe Gems will be needed again once you start to Augment your gear, so the more you have the better (same with armor spheres). This is just the beginning, there are some nice armor sets that come out later with the all the DLC's (which I hope we get by the end of the year).

I keep the armor sphere's until I have pieces of armor I'll be using all the time, then upgrade them... it will take a lot, so using them on low rank is a waste (even if you think you have a lot). Also, the multiplayer disconnects are becoming really annoying.

Diablo + Doom 2016/Eternal = Win. Just let the player kill hordes of mobs as quickly as in normal Diablo games, but with a different PoV. So tired of the isometric / click to move genre now.

That would only work while solo, and/or Rain hits enough to allow spread to stagger (in my experience).
