Just had the ghost pepper and habanero grillers. Ghost pepper had plenty of heat. Wasn't ghost pepper hot but had some kick. I'm pretty sure they are just putting the volcano sauce in them and calling it ghost pepper. Either way very tasty

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

Haha ok bros. Be diligent and smart about everything in your lives except for love. Because god forbid you do anything reasonable or logical when marriage is on the table. Keep pretending the world is a Disney movie.

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

If there's no pre-nup involved then yea, you're right. Pre-marriage money doesn't automatically become commingled once you get married if you continue to use that same separated account though, there are time frames involved. But I was arguing as if everyone who had joint accounts would...

The Brink (HBO) - June 21

That part also made the least sense when you think about the hoops he had to jump through with Jack Black's character getting into contact with the general.

Ballers (HBO show with The Rock)

I can see Jack Black as being the type of person/actor you either hate or love. I personally love him, ever since that scene in High Fidelity where he's dancing to Walking on Sunshine. I understand why some people might not like him though, except if you don't like Tenacious D, because fuck you...

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

I guess maybe I wasn't clear on what I meant? That's the entire point of not having joint accounts. The second you remove your assets from your separate accounts and commingle with your joint accounts it doesn't matter when it was earned.

Good point, I forgot that you can't go over the 20 cap that way. For some reason I was assuming these were +3 to all on top of that.

Is an Individual Bank Account Considered Joint Property in a Divorce? | LegalZoom: Legal Info Specifically in regards to the Commingling portion. But most of it has to do with time. The longer you're married the less it matters. And if it's a long marriage well I guess you had it good and did...

Zolas maybe. Lizards give life on hit as well, and when genosha red releases they will probably see a spike in price. I wouldn't sell them at all. Even if it's just an artifical rush for them at first before people understand how to properly adjust to the spike in difficulty. The value in...

Company Raises It's Minimum Wage to $70,000 and All Hell Breaks Loose

Hey man, I like what you're selling. The problem is this country, and it's new generation of entrepreneurs, aren't interested in making anything anymore. We are "service" oriented now. We'd rather rake in millions selling bullshit. The government should just start using kickstarter.

A business would have a corporate account that wasn't tied to my personal financial future. The business liability would also be removed from both of us personally. You make the worst analogies out of probably anyone on this forum. So what?

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

Eh, it's certainly possible. But I think it has more to do with not having met a woman who really lights my fire than actually sabotaging a good thing because I can't handle "forever". I've got no regrets.

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

Tarrant, as someone who has been divorced and is considering it again. Did you have joint accounts in your first relationship? Did you wish you didn't? Do you have joint accounts now? And not at all as a slight but an honest question. Pre-nups and separation of finances seem logical to me...

Because you can do everything you've all said a joint account affords with separate accounts, but if you have joint accounts and things go sour is makes separating finances much easier.

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

I don't mean splitting everything 50/50. I mean split cost of living (housing, utilities, things like that) and then have conversations about what you want to do together and how to pay for it. We've had these discussions before. I think everyone here knows I think it's bullshit for someone to...

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

I just don't see how having a joint bank account is a necessity. You don't need a joint bank account to split your bills and costs of living. I've never had joint bank accounts with my roommates and things worked out just fine.

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

What does sharing a bank account have to do with trust? And "a few dollars"? You naive fool. There's no compelling reason to join bank accounts. None whatsoever. And if it does go south it makes everything that much more difficult. We try to do what's smart and reasonable in every aspect of our...

Company Raises It's Minimum Wage to $70,000 and All Hell Breaks Loose

You'd be a fool to give up the upward mobility that can come with being a good mechanic over the course of a lifetime to go work at a McDonald's that, while it can have some upward mobility, doesn't really have the same type of guarantee. That's very short term thinking. I know that some people...

So you realize some people are "fuckups" because they didn't ever get taught and don't know how to not be a "fuckup". The issue for some of us is by treating them like slaves and never allowing them to have a chance even if they do work full time and at least try to contribute to society we are...

Not necessarily because most companies realize hiring overqualified people leads to high turnover. Those overqualified people never stop looking for a job that is more suitable to them and leave as soon as they find one. But this also assumes there are a high amount of unemployed people who...

Well I was assuming you were close to the ~450k (is that right? maybe that was closer to the 50% bracket and 70% was 1 million or so in today's dollars). Whether or not the poor are better off now than were in 1959 is debatable. In some ways yes they are, and in other ways no they are not...

How exactly do you "encourage" a company to pay its employees more when they are having record years? You let collective bargaining do the talking or you "artificially inflate" the minimum wage if it's a company that employs large amounts of minimum wage workers. What exactly do you mean by...

So I understand not wanting to pay a bunch of money in taxes, it doesn't seem fair to have to give up money you've earned to subsidize the less fortunate.
