I still don't know how it works. I played a few months ago, and tried to flag for the weekly world PvP stuff but I was the only flagged horde in a sea of alliance. I logged onto an alliance character on the same server, tried again, and somehow now I was the only alliance guy. /shrug

AV these days is just run to an enemy tower, afk, pull the boss before they do. No actual PvP involved which is a shame because I love those skirmishes. The long version of AV with the summonable bosses were amazing back in the day.

So hows this expansion work if you want to come back and start from scratch? I could never finish the MSQ, hell I don't think I made it past vanilla FF14, the "zone 4 times, kill 1 mob, return" MSQ quests were killing me.

I knew that was a thing going in, it was worth it to get it way OP. This is an MMO, so of course there's real neckbeards out there with 4x the cloak I had, but it was neat soloing all of the raids without insta kill mechanics.
