Are there special "World" quests in Suramar? I'm currently doing In the Thick of It(kill Captain Fiora) and it's not showing up on any of the WQ trackers. I'm concerned I'm missing other WQs if I just happened upon this one.

Shockwave is 20s ideally and nobody is clamoring for dps warriors. To be clear, for dps, burst ae and mobility are pretty significant utility themselves. It's the reason feral and balance are near the bottom despite pretty useful utility in brez and roar/innervate .

Great AE burst and almost too much mobility. They don't bring that much utility though.

Because arms and fury want crit(they don't)! Maybe parry resetting revenge will show just how awesome crit will be. I was itching to try a DK but thanks for reminding how poorly the itemized tanks this expansion. My elemental shaman is just having crit/haste gear thrown at him on the other hand.

I agree about the Ulduar style of progression. Activating then defeating hard modes in Ulduar and Icecrown were fucking fun. I was really surprised they didn't put a gear level cap on some of the achievements from those raids. I got those mounts when it was hard, damnit!

Yes, they definitely know more about elemental spec than I do. I can't quite explain why the elemental community at large, including that website, only advocates EQ at 4+ targets, but whatever. Take it as you may.

@Brikker Just in case anyone was still following this, I'll retract my comment about FS dot tabbing. I was using AMR's Mythic+ script for simming, and I think it has a flaw in that it does not properly exercise all the different pull size's for sustained DPS. Thus, it made FS tabbing look bad...

The icy veins one was written by a guy that doesn't even play the class and had an obvious disdain for the elemental spec from a raiding perspective. Take any information in that guide with some suspicion. I have had some conflicting results simming elemental dps at different target levels...

OK, I can agree with that perspective. Just feels bad as a dps to see the other two big dick dps blowing shit up while you're clawing at 2/3rd their DPS at best. And if you're pugging, that will affect your ability to receiving invites on even trivial M+ difficulties.

My misgiving with both specs is that a large chunk of their AE dps is dots, as you mention with tab-targeting. They don't bring that much utility either. I don't understand how they are better in lower difficulties when shit gets blown up before either spec can ramp up. Explain? @Khane...

I give anyone at least one fuckup before vote kicking. Unless they get around name conflicts by using non-standard symbols like accents and umlats. Druids for tankiness and some decent utility(brez and stampeding roar), blood dk for great self heals and very good utility(brez and grip) but you...
