Another thing I just learned is the 4th regular fight in act 1 is when the encounter difficulty jumps, so keep that in mind in selecting your pathing. If your deck is weak, delay the 4th encounter as much as possible.

Yeah its basically STS 1 with higher production quality like better animations/sound. Mechanics/cards like 90% the same but the characters/cards aren't 100% identical to STS 1

Can't go for elites unless the RNG gods bless you with a good early hand, at least in act 1. Early merchant lets you purge a strike and possibly get some key cards early. Ascension 10 double act 3 boss down while taking 0 damage from both

1. Hit as many shops as you can to remove your starter cards, focus on strikes first 2. Keep your deck lean, I skip more cards then I take usually 3. But build around what you're given as well 4. Trial and error figuring out which cards/rewards are good and which are mediocre

If only I got the ancient that gives you access to other characters cards and grab a body slam and barricade

Easiest and most consistent necro build is getting cards that generate Souls, then cards that benefit from using souls. I think another issue people might have is they start a run with a build in mind, and try to force it to work. But if RNG gives you mostly doom cards, then certainly a soul/pet...

I never even selected that card. Don't sleep on Murder, I thought it only increased damage on draw during your turn, but I found out the damage increase applies to all card draw, including your innate draw each turn. With pen nib and vulnerable I did over 300 damage on final boss.

Kinda, but its a lot harder to get pet HP then block, so it sorta balances. There's the power that gives summon with every soul played, got a +100 hp pet very easily. Also, had a necro soul run that had the letter opener and tuning fork artifacts. Letter opener does 5 damage to all enemies...

I imagine things will feel OP until we unlock max ascension and the architect is finally implemented as well as the first balance pass. I see necro getting hit the hardest.

Sounds more like their common tactic like what we went through in the napster days. Examples sited include threatening to sue a lady singing to herself at work and a mechanic listening to the radio while he worked alone.

It's what we did in the pizzaria. Dough was made day before, kept in the walk in all day and we took it out what we needed through out the day hours ahead of time. Stretches way easier with less chance of breaking, especially when we were making 20" slice pies

I think they toned down the amount of extra energy relics. I remember in 1 you almost always got at least 1 from a boss, now the bosses don't seem to give any at all that i've seen yet outside of the demon guy at start of act 3
