You can also get a bottomless box and sort out your inventory at a bonfire. The box can be bought from the undead merchant guy in the Burg for example, it's really cheap aswell.

The port is half-assed, the game still pretty good. Get the graphics fix, plug-in a gamepad and enjoy. Seriously, do not play this if you don't have a gamepad, i can't imagine anyone playing Dark Souls with a keyboard and mouse.

They limited guesting already. People are just paranoid (and usually late to the event) and complain about the overflow, when really it's the servers native population who's flocking to these events like crazy; they're one of the few rewarding things in the game afterall.
