Swap out one of my DPS flasks for a life flask on those map mods and rapid movement. Running bloodlines most of the time so it never took more than a few seconds to be next to mobs again unless I derped it up.

I did Oni MS Jugg and had zero problem with map mods of all tiers other than no leech (more of inconvenience, but not impossible) or ele reflect (not possible).

I enjoyed the first one and as soon as this pops on Steam sale I will be nabbing it. Could use a change of pace from all the brutal roguelikes and Cupheads of the world I've been primarily playing.

The combat is about the best thing in the game so if it's not something you enjoy I'd just shelve it now. There are some nuances once you upgrade some spots in the ascension skill tree or swap to other weapons, but it's pretty basic.
