Man that's right, I remember watching that episode, and I don't think I've even seen it again as a repeat. ( might have been a 2 parter ) but I still remember it pretty well. That ep had a real darker edge and that ending worked so well.

Actually you've got a good point there. The time between the 2 future periods shown could allow for a big change of the combat strengths, and the gear wasn't all modern stuff even from our perspective. They were getting around in Vietnam era Hueys and even the A10 is quite an old plane for us...

One problem with Salvation that I couldn't get past was the lack of logic in how the future was. It just contradicted the established Terminator facts, in the first 2 movies we saw the future resistance fighters as a Guerrilla force, living in shitty tunnels and crap under the ruined city...

Yeah the music was like a straight lift ( or very close copy ) of the 2001 - space odyssey ending music. I guess just a copy as it's a harmonic mixture of voices. I remember it was like that in one of the trailers I saw, I figured it was a temp track, but was the same in the finished film.
