Just kill off Ryan and make him the series focus. Better character and better actor. Not going to happen given the source material, but it would be a much better show. It's not watchable as it is.

Be sure to research whatever life skills you intend to do. Some of them like Training and Farming have almost no use for mastery gear. It doesn't hurt, but not really worth investing silver in the high mastery gear for those professions.

It's a different game for sure. The gear grind can be overwhelming. But there is also a lot to do that doesn't involve much combat. Some people just life skill and have little interest in spending billions getting +1 on their combat gear. They would rather spend billions getting mastery gear...

150 family level limit is going keep many, many players out of Velia servers from now on. It's very easy to have 3 toons over level 50, so they still need a catch up mechanic for returning players.

BDO also has a huge variety of very deep systems to keep you busy. A lot of players don't even bother with combat and just do life skills. Way too much to do in BDO even if you play 24/7. I've been playing off an on since launch and sill haven't gotten around to most of the content.
