Absolutely man. Was a good time. I'm also gonna rank up my other two. They're both low silver but usually I climb on them. I just enjoy tanking more

Duod with valderan. My rank didn't move the entire 4 hours I played tonight. Unfair because my kid woke up and I lost 50 SR for being afk

    Warcraft III: Reforged

I've got no horse in the race so it's whatever now. Added to the list of companies whose games I wait for reviews on

    Warcraft III: Reforged

Their success hinges on wow subs. They don't pump out games fast enough otherwise

IT/Software career thread: Invert binary trees for dollars.

Emulators don't exist for our stuff. I'm writing BIOS to a SPI chip on a server board. It's impossible to unit test our code, it has to be running on the target cpu. I remember a company selling an Intel emulator years ago but the cost was astronomical and a lot of features weren't supported...

I do code. We don't have unit tests like the ones lendarios is talking about, not possible for what we write.

I don't work in a world where unit tests exist. I also don't work in AWS In terms of memory management neither are wrong, I just prefer the second.

    Warcraft III: Reforged

The only question in the back of my mind is how much of these decisions are coming down from Activision instead of Blizzard. I mean, it's all a bunch of horse shit either way.

    Overwatch

I keep pingponging between gold and silver, having trouble breaking that spot. There are certainly games where I feed until I readjust, but people are so weirdly toxic at this level. If I pick ball, 9/10 times someone says "WE DONT NEED BALL HERE".. ok.. dude it's gold, we could play 6x...

I understand your point. I just prefer to keep memory alloc/dealloc contained if possible. I probably wouldn't pull it out of that member unless others needed it too. I'm thinking about scope.

The issue was 3 tanks and 3 supports, but yeah the individual hero kits played a part

    Overwatch

I personally think the tank lineup is fine. Maybe they should've removed barriers except for rein and made the other tanks viable in other ways. Or personal shields only

Found another major bug in the code for 10+ years. We had code that logs errors to a DB, with a check on buffer size. If it's too big we throw it out - let's say up to 150 characters. The code that calls this function makes a string up to 256 characters and sends it to previous mentioned...

What is funny to me is people still buy games based on trailers. Wait like.. 1 hour after release for reviews to come out. Latest instance - WC3. If you had waited just a couple hours you'd know it was a burning tire fire.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

The sad part is they eliminated so many CS jobs. They're probably outsourcing now too. I mean I don't keep up with it, so I don't know if they've said that or not but I just assume so. I remember GMs in EQ2 coming out and spawning random bosses and community events and shit. EQ2. FUCKIN EQ2 had...
