That's exactly what I thought, I have no memory of the Krishna-riding Tobi coming back.

I feel like I could sit down tomorrow and design an MMO that is more fleshed out and informative than everything released about Pantheon. Given that Brad claims they've been working on this since September there's obviously a huge gap between what people expected was done and what was actually done.

I never understood why warriors had to give up all utility to be the best at something. I think a cool idea for a warrior would be a hybrid of fighter, rogue and ranger. Basically a warrior with good ranged backup abilities and a lot of melee tricks to debuff enemies.

This is a very good critique and summary. Brad has a chance with stating he'll create something we want, but if he wants to capitalize on that chance and be successful with his kickstarter he's going to need to do much better.

I'm down with that. In Skyrim when I was doing super immersive, dead is dead playthroughs I modded my map so it didn't show my location. I also modded the compass to remove the near location icons and enemy icons. The game world really changes when you stop looking at terrain as just eye candy...

It works great for a horror game or a game like Dark Souls, but in MMOs it'd just be a pain. Unless you can implement a way for the player to remove it, and then what's the point?

Yeah, it'll be difficult recreating the the bard class. It's really one of a kind and I just don't see another game allowing so many broken abilities to be combined with such mediocre ones!

That's how I feel. WoW vanilla saw the loss of outdoor PVP with the addition of battlegrounds and the pvp honor system. TBC added flying mounts and the game got more formulaic. Wotlk was more of the same

This is exactly what I thought I gave Khane, I have no idea who that guy is besides the link I sent Khane.

Oddly enough I feel like an MMO with cinematic quality cutscenes and streamlined questing and well balanced encounters that are all equally easy would be more expensive than a solid combat system, inter-dependent classes and an open sandbox world.

I haven't really seen any trolling done in this thread. What Utnayan did couldn't be considered trolling because it was so embarrassing.
