Once you get to a certain point in D3 you can't worry about gear, you have to worry about fun. If you worry about getting upgrades you will get burnt out pretty quick as they just aren't coming.

It's certainly just another reskin in the genre. There is nothing innovative there. It should also still be a fun game. Games like this I always advise people that if they like the IP the game is about then grab it. The IP is generally 3/4 of the fun of playing a game.

Yeah because it's totally not obvious when one server says "Free For All" and another says "3 Faction" and another says "Guild vs Guild" that the free for all server will have one winner. Wait a minute....

I will never play a Dregs campaign unless I am forced to. I have a lot more fun in group play then I do solo play(and while my twitch skills are good enough I am not some uber amazing world pwner). My preferred rules set out of those presented so far are 3 faction.

So you do that and realize your fun is more important then becoming "server champion of all time". They are making it pretty clear that winning will require numbers but that doesn't mean you can't win your own mini-game of small skirmishes.

GW stuff might be a bit over priced but honestly they have some of the best pigment ratios out there. My Vallejo's are all over the place but my GW stuff is always consistently high on pigments.

GRifts have never been the best way to gear for me. Fully clearing a T6 rift is 4-6 legendaries and takes about the same time as a level 25ish GRift and you don't have to do the gay trial. Seems like a total win all around.

I got a max damage rolled Sun Keeper so I use that on hand and some other Ancient as my off hand and it is better then my well rolled Furnace on my Barb. Once you get a decent Ancient 2H it will be better but I seem to get everything Ancient except two handers

Do T6 bounties in public groups even if you can't do them. Ride along with someone else in the group. Even if people mind doing the bounties takes like 5 minutes total and you won't see those guys ever again.

Install Marvel Heroes and play Silver Surfer. It's the better version of the Raekor's Barb. I enjoy my Charge Barb but it's a poor man's Surfer
