I think it can still be ok with a higher budget.. I'd be hesitant of league starting it though. Lost base regen from arcane surge and a lot of damage. I league started BF/BB archmage raider last league and it was a pain to level and transition then.

Dmg nerf fine, but i didnt count on Oom league and that will probably feel terrible. On the plus side archmage didnt take as big of a nerf as i thought with all the higher mana multipliers and mana management is part of that build anyway. for example a 6% cost times 1.3^5 is around 22% mana cost...

I had the ranger starter bow in offhand with Caustic Arrow and pierce and it did better everywhere than cobra lash with lesser poison and lmp. And compared to what i normally do on a witch, frostbomb and oos+stormblast mines theres really no comparison. I don't really know why cobra lash...

Why isnt Cobra lash any good? On paper its a skill that looks like it should be amazing to play but i ran through act 1 with it and it was pretty terrible. Does it get any better? Interested me for a bit because of the poison buff and that theres hydrosphere for bosses now.

Oh ya im dumb. My first draft of a CI version with essence drain as substitute. I was looking at cluster jewels and thought the notables on the chaos one sucked for a hit build. I think a clusters like this could be pretty good though alltough probably impossible to actually craft as good as this.

So what skills can use the "utility" supports the best seing as the damage supports are getting nerfed? First thing that popped into my mind was anything with GMP and multishots so perhaps a relative stealth buff to Winter orb? But even though i wish Worb was good i can't say i'm very hopeful...

Explode chest BV was great last league you really missed out. My 1 build this league is Bf bv archmage raider and it isn't the most fun to play imo...The boss dps isnt crazy and the map clear is annoying... Its survivable so can do ultimatums atleast.

I'm not trying to argue but my point was it's not straight up, blow EQ out of the way, crazy whitout that support. Correct me if i'm wrong but normal ground slam does like 2.25 (1.5*1.5ish) times damage while EQ does 4.2 (1.2*2.5). VGS is like 600% (4*1.5ish) damage Fist of war is 2.5 times...

problem with vaal ground slam is that fist of war support doesn't work with it. I wonder if the smart thing to do, for these new skills, is get a synthesis implicit scepter (because the normal sceptre implicit are just for ele dmg) just because you can harvest force +1 phys gem on scepters.

Correct me if i'm wrong but deadly ailments doesn't work for reap because it doesn't bleed. In general i'd be pretty hesitant to play either reap or exsanguinate. One is a sweep and the other looks even worse for mapping and the last few supports you can get aren't the best i think. Possible...

Anyone that played bf/bb before know if these sorts of numbers are good enough to feel satisfied with? It's for a raider archmage So it's pretty tanky but the damage hits a wall because it would take too many points to get decent crit.

So inpulsa says "Shocked Enemies you Kill Explode, dealing 5% of their Life as Lightning Damage which cannot Shock" I'm not sure how to read that...Does it mean that only the lightning damage can't shock so if you convert it to non-lightning it can still shock with three dragon helm or...

I must've missed it, what did they say about explode chest? And is it just the crusader mod or stuff like inpulsa too? Other than that, league looks ok. The economy chages are good. Skills look visually bad ass and interesting, especially reap but i totally thought it was an attack.
